Disclaimer: Sorry Rings, I didn't really know where to put this. I'm not actually selling them, so I didn't toss it in the Ticket Exchange section. If that is where it belongs, feel free to move it over there. Thanks.

So, did anyone go and try to purchase the rights today? I bought two strips and damn it was a lot of money. Seriously, I was expecting to only get three games because we only have 27 games (and was hoping), but had to buy the entire strip. It works out to $110 a ticket for Upper Reserved! A bit of an increase. Almost twice as much for one seat as it was for two tickets to 27 games.

Did anyone else buy, or are you waiting a bit? I know that some of that will be credited, they'll have their work cut out getting to the playoffs, let alone the WS, but still. I need a second job. I probably will end up I ticket exchange with this if they make it, I can't afford to go to all of them!

I hope we have diplomatic relations with the country that ball lands in.

I'll be looking at buying, but I'm getting married in September and don't really have the cash. I was thinking of putting together a pool of people to raise cash. Everyone gets a shot at a ticket and if they're game isn't played then they get their money back. But yea, it's a ton of money.

Congratulations man! Good month to get married if you ask Mrs. TR84 and myself.

We've done the same, there is a pool of people and we'll sell some off if they go the distance. I have to admit to wanting to sell them for face, but we'll see. I'm banking on them not actually costing what we paid based on not going to all and selling some off.

I hope we have diplomatic relations with the country that ball lands in.

Where'd you grab them Rings? I damn near went for Skyline because they were so cheap compared to others, but we stayed in our section and moved up a few rows (338).

Wicked. If you see some ketchup packets land in your area can you pick them up and chuck them at Krotchy? Sometimes the wind swirls up in the 300s and they go anywhere.

700 for the set? Where are they or is this for the first series alone?

Depends on where they are...and that's likely for one ticket. I snagged OF box (3rd base line) and they're about double that per seat...

700 for the 3 game set, 4 tickets. Obviously we won't be having a game 3 (we're on the road, probably) so I'll be refunded for game 3.

And for the other 2 games, I'll be selling 6 of the 8 tickets, since I'm not big enough to take up 2 seats so it should all be good. I'm excited. And heck, if they don't make it, I'll get refunded all together

EXCEPT for the $25 F-U "service fee"

Yeah, the full strip includes the "if" game as well, which is highly unlikely that we have a tie and win the coin flip to get the home game, so that one will be refunded as well.

Yeah, it was about 700 for one in the Skyline, that's why I asked.

At least you guys don't have to worry about potential exchange differences. I got screwed by that last time.

Yeah, the biggest thing about me getting these tickets is that I don't have to worry about buying someone else's to, say, game 4 and there not being a game 4 or something and losing all my $ while he makes double.

And yeah Rings, I just realized earlier about the tiebreaker being included. Kind of silly but I can understand why they do it. Basically I've got about 300 dollars on my CC that's going to be refunded to me in due time. Sucks because of interest...

I got a 15 game package, and I coulda sworn that I was going to have the opportunity to purchase playoff tix, but I havent heard one word from the Tigers.

I've been seeing that promo about buying the 15-game playoff run package and getting the ability to purchase playoff tix, which pisses me off since I bought mine back in Feb. Bastards.

You didn't get an e-mail with the one-time only password? Weird. I'd call. We have the 27, but I'd still call and ask anyway. I doubt they are sold out, but the deadline is passed. I remember them treating the 15 gamers like the red-headed stepchild last year, even us 27 gamers in the lower priced zones, but I thought they were trying to make up for it since they weren't getting the same season sales this year. I know we went from getting three games to getting a 1 in 4 shot at it to getting a chance to purchase the strip anywhere in the building for all games.

I woulda buy anything yet. Epic Fail by the Tigers by not putting this thing away against below average teams.

Also glad to be back on the board after about 2 years of not being able to bitch about games.

Good to see you D!

Yes, the way they're playing now, we're going to need our entire cushion...but if they don't qualify for the playoffs, we get an automatic refund...this "pre-pay" is just letting them use our $$ interest free for a few weeks...

I called my tix rep today, Michael E. Illitch the III or something to that affect. I got my tickets for the ALDS games. $207 per seat for all 3 games (which will most likely end up being 2 games). Not bad, but not great either. I dont like how they did it this year. I got to pick my seats, but only the general location. I told him what sections I would sit in, then he submits some form to someone else who actually PICKS the seats I sit in. I will find out tomorrow where my tickets are . This better be to my liking or I will have to pitch a bxtch.

Well, I called Illitch back today, and my seats are just about what I wanted. I'm section 325 row 3. I'm excited. I just hope we hang on and make the playoffs since we stank so bad right now.
