Throw out any suggestions for changes (within reason and possibility)...

Color scheme?
Categories?
Forum titles?
Additional forums?

A button that shows all the unread posts and new replies to threads you have posted in since your last visit?

I've been trying to find a setting for that...I'll work at it in the support forums.

Looking through the features, it doesn't appear to have this available (as our old board did) - unless somebody out there knows more about excoboard than I do. Instead, it merely shows newly posted threads highlighted in orange. Once you've read them, you can hit "mark all forums read" at the bottom to clear the highlights.

Sorry.

I added a new Tiger History forum, for some of those peeks back threads that don't seem to fit in "Clubhouse" or "On the Field."

As always, if any of you guys have suggestions, don't be afraid to post 'em.

Ok, gang (that was my best Jim Price impression)...as we get closer to the World Series and the end of the season in a couple weeks, I'd love opinions on a suggestion by a member to consolidate the topics:

Thread: http://excoboard.com/tigerscentral/124199/1766246

The suggestion would look like this:

Quote:
Tiger Baseball
* Gameday
* Tigers
* Tickets

Major League Baseball
* Around the Majors

Minor League Baseball
* Around the Minors

Other Sports
* Non Baseball Topics

Off Topic
* (Almost) Anything Goes
* Admin

All the current threads would be combined under their appropriate topics.

In addition, I'll be combing the member rolls at the end of the season and eliminating all "members" who have NEVER posted. Most of them are likely spammers, so I apologize to any "legit" members who are deleted.
***If you have never posted, make a post and say "hi" so we know you're real!***
If you are accidentally deleted, please feel free to re-apply for quick approval.

Any other thoughts, opinions, other suggestions?

Looks good to me. Might be a bit easier since we're not the largest community in the world. As long as I can still rag on Krotch.
I hope we have diplomatic relations with the country that ball lands in.

Consolidation will make this place more stream-lined, so I concur. THere aren't enough active members to have all those categories really.

It is supposed to be there. Thats what the link is, but it hasn't worked forever and I never bothered fixing it.

Poor Kermit. He really needs an intervention.

Ok...changes made. Hope it suits everyone. It was actually fun re-reading a bunch of old threads while moving them.

Let me know if anyone has other suggestions, but this is hopefully a good one!
