Posted September 26th, 2011 10:03 PM IP Just read the ESPN article and it looks like tonight is his last game. White Sox are gonna regret this one, he had an ability to take the heat off of his team and place it on himself, which benefits the team in the long run.

Posted September 27th, 2011 09:02 AM IP While you speak the truth, Blade, he was still a loose cannon and I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did...and was able to walk away rather than get fired. Eliminating that Yankee odor since 2006!

Posted September 27th, 2011 10:19 AM IP I'm surprised too. I watched a piece on him a few weeks ago though, how Williams and the owner said they knew they'd have to deal with his mouth when he came, but they could handle it and wouldn't fire him over that.
Is he managing with the Marlins or front office or what? I hope we have diplomatic relations with the country that ball lands in.

Posted September 28th, 2011 12:28 PM IP I liked Ozzie as a player, before I had to listen to him very much. Well, we'll see how they like him in Florida. The Latino connection makes sense, but the front office will need thick skins.
