So 20 games in and offense struggling, what lineup do you think should be out there everyday? Here is mine:
1. Jackson CF
2. Peralta SS (right now is struggling, could move Santiago or Avila here)
3. Miggy 3B
4. Prince 1B
5. Young/Raburn DH
6. Boesch RF
7. Avila C
8. Dirks LF
9. Santiago 2B
I almost think they have to give starting LF job to Dirks. He has proven he can play. Did great in DR league this last winter. I think he could be a nice surprise if he was fulltime in LF. He would make defense a tiny bit better with him and AJAX in the field together.
I know this is crazy and he was my Tiger but, what do you guys think about maybe getting Polanco from Phillies to play 2B. I have heard the phillies are open to trading him. I think he would fit in perfect for us on this team. Put him back in the 2 spot!
