Well, hopefully he regrets that decision in about six or seven months. "I don't believe in superstitions. I think they're bad luck." - Andy Van Slyke

Posted April 2nd, 2010 12:31 PM IP I bet he did this purposely thinking that it might help influence the Tigers to make him an offer. Krotchy's release was long overdue. He should have been cut about six years ago, comepletely out of baseball by now, and where he belongs bagging groceries at a Krogers.

This is actually one of my fears...he'll start the season hot again, and the Tigers will extend him. I hope I'm wrong... Eliminating that Yankee odor since 2006!

Exactly what I was thinking. They better not. They better just make him wait out the whole season like they did Polanco. Then cut him loose. Krotchy's release was long overdue. He should have been cut about six years ago, comepletely out of baseball by now, and where he belongs bagging groceries at a Krogers.

Posted April 30th, 2010 05:23 PM IP Krotchy is just six K's away from 1000 for his career. My buddy has been counting down since late last year. He's upset it's probably going to happen on the road, but I think he can K twice a game this series. He's the Krotch, if it takes the Golden Sombrero, he'll find a way. I hope we have diplomatic relations with the country that ball lands in.

Cool...he had a nice classic check-swinger today to help thet cause! And he'll reach his milestone only half the season before he gets his 1000th hit! Eliminating that Yankee odor since 2006!

This is the saddest part, well funny because it's the Krotch, but sad. He's still 77 hits away from 1000, depending on what he's done today. I hope we have diplomatic relations with the country that ball lands in.

Brandon Inge heads Target Field only TWO strikeouts away from 1,000 for his career. Does he get them both on Monday night? Does he wait until Tuesday? Or, does he do the improbable and not K until he gets to C-Town?
The over under on his 1,000 is 4.5 ABs. I'll take the under. I hope we have diplomatic relations with the country that ball lands in.

Posted May 23rd, 2010 09:52 AM IP This guy is completely nauseating.
He's spent the past week basically dismissing Boesch as an idiot caveman who just swings hard (implying he's lucky, despite the fact that BB's already a better major league hitter than Inge has ever been.)
I won't even mention his K to end the game last night with the tying runs on base - strike two and a check and strike three looking - but now he's being quoted on ESPN as saying the ball that Manny Ramirez hit at him was the "hardest he has ever seen."
Excuses, excuses. Again.
This guy is a tool.
Tell him to try tournament softball, where guys hit rockets at infielders every game with shaved bats. If Joe Weekender can make the plays, Mr. Never Gold Glove should be able to as well, particularly for his $7m per season. Eliminating that Yankee odor since 2006!

Posted May 30th, 2010 10:26 AM IP I don't know if any of you heard this a couple weeks ago, but I'd forgotten to post it then. I nearly threw up in my car as Brandon talks about he "doesn't care" about strikeouts and batting average...he's just there to "drive in runs."
He also continues to disparage Boesch, by basically calling him an idiot caveman who just swings hard...implying that he's lucky and doesn't really know how to hit (continued his above referenced trend).
Here's the audio if anyone cares to listen:
