Boesch with a nice swing and a great hit. Hard, line drive double over Choo's head to lead off the second. His swing is starting to look a lot better the last couple of weeks.
Avila on the other hand... um... yeah.

This team drives me insane. Avila hits a grounder to short that shouldn't have advanced the runner (but did because Cabrera didn't want to throw to third for reasons unbeknownst to me, terrible decision to run by Boesch) and then JP II hits one directly at the third baseman and Boesch is on his way home and obviously out. Lead off double turns into two baserunning errors (one that we got away with) and three weakly hit balls that couldn't get out of the infield.

JV doing what he can so far. The hits last inning weren't exactly screamers. We need to find a way to get runs around to score. Can't waste as many good starts as we do.

What the hell is going on? I'm on the radio now as I'm back at work but Brookens just lost his shit, got tossed and then Leyland came out and got tossed too.
Dickerson and Price have no idea what on earth is going on, but figuring it was a quick pitch.

If we don't get to four runs we've scored 3 or less in half our games. This is 2008... change something up... like whoever is coaching the bats.
