Are you an ethical shopper?

Discuss.

No, I shop in Kent and Sutthex
My life was in tatters because of my
obsession with the Okey-Cokey.

But I turned myself around and that's
what it's all about!

I try to be but on the whole I think I'm probably not. Could do better.

I hope you don't have one of those iphones where the workers commit suicide cos of their appalling conditions. Especially with you being a man of the co-worker and that.

I'm afraid to say I do. Although when i bought it I didnt know the working conditions were that bad. Thats the reason i said could do better. I like doing exercise for example and i'm pretty sure most of my running and cycling stuff is probably made in a sweat shop, but I can find any ethical sports companies.

That was rather selfish of you not to do your research.

Send your phone back in protest.

Here's a report on where to buy trainers with ethics:

prolly not. I try to buy fairtrade where I can and don't do too much shopping in primark etc but i think it's impossible to shop completely ethically unless you have a lot of time and money on your hands.

it depends how far you want to take it, really.

Whatever fortune brings, don't be afraid of doing things

I thought Primark were supposed to have more ethical trading policies than the likes of M&S?

They are supposed to have ethical policies, but I don't really trust them.

If I like something, I will buy it. End of.

As Mrs M says, I don't think it's possible to shop completely ethically.

If I know somewhere is unethical I won't buy from there, but I don't research a place before I make a purchase.

Don't worry, Greggs give their uneaten wares to the homeless at the end of the day, so you're safe.

And no, you can't pretend to be homeless!
