I think I'm on the wrong one, and possibly have been for a couple of years now.

Has anyone ever had to contact the tax place regarding this, if so, how did you get on?

Yeah it happened to me years ago. They were great in fairness. They notified my then employer and I got a rebate. Groovy.

Did you have to send your P60? Knowing my luck I'll owe them lol.

The thing is, I do the finance so it's me that's done it wrong.

Although I don't update the electronic finance system where the mistake seems to be.

No I didn't send them anything. At the beginning of each financial year your tax office issues your employer with each employees tax code for the year. It's the tax offices fault not your employer (or yours). Although they probably should have picked up that it's wrong.

I was on an emergency tax code once, so I got a rebate too. Groovy

PS. yes, I know they don't do them anymore, makes being a loan shark a bit harder.
