I think that cheques are being stopped as a payment method, aren't they? http://www.doitforcharity.com/ngorman

Cash or cheque?
I always use switch to pay, only carry loose change for parking meters.

Posted 10th March 2010 11:29 IP I use my credit card as often as I can. Mainly because I collect store points that convert to shopping vouchers, so in effect I get free vouchers for buying what i would have brought anyway.
Also, with credit card, it's not your money so if anything goes wrong, I can refuse to pay and things generally get sorted a lot quicker than if I used debit card.
Some places don't accept credit card though, which I hate !! like post offices won't allow you to pay bills with a credit card.
As for cheques, I use it to pay money from my current account to my savings. Cheques still have it's uses. Abortion - It sucks the life out of you.
