Posted 31st October 2009 08:56 IP My teenagers got access to money they have been saving since they was babies, anyway they wanted it transferrring from the savings account in abbey to their current accounts in alliance and leicester.
I wrote instructions down for their grandad tpo give to the bank but for some unbeknown reason she said it couldnt be done so she would have to close tha accounts for it to be done, they were then offered cash or cheque, obv they went for cheque as no way did they wanna come back fro runcorn on a train with that amount of cash alone (grandad could have taken them to an alliance n leicester but he didnt lol)
Anyway my Q is they was given a counter cheque, how does this work....do they pay it in their accounts like a normal cheque and wait 3-5 days, or can they go into an abbey and cash it instantly and then we go next door an pay it in manually to their bank?
of course they dont wanna wait if they can help it, they waited all these years and they are kids lol, they want it now! في حياة أخرى
