Posted 27th September 2007 19:22 IP What does it mean??
I have investments with norwich union who are doing something with the "with prifit" funds (aka mine) and popping them into one all singing all dancing thing!!
basically and the only thing i understand about it is they will be offering certain customers an...
"incentive payment in return for giving up their interests in any possible future payouts (special distributions) from the inherited estate"
WTF does this mean??

Posted 27th September 2007 20:53 IP it is something they are doing, they will offer members a choice, we don't have to accept, and they have promised it won't affect the terms of the original investment.
I could get info off the website, but i'm not big on financial lingo, i want someone to spell it out to me!
If they offer me money to waiver any future benefits i think i'll take it, because i'm going to cash it in anyway!!

Posted 2nd October 2007 21:12 IP Wuzy,
Sorry I have not heard of the term reattribution, I can only suggest that you refer to Norwich Union for a full explanation of the pros and cons of the suggested change or seek advice from an independant financial adviser.
I regret I am not an IFA and have no relevant qualification/knowledge in this field.
Kind regards,
Jim Don't take life too seriously, you won't get out of it alive.
