Whereabouts do you stay? You ever been to the Bridge of Orchy hotel, nice grub there.
What about the Claichaig Inn?
Never spent much time in Glencoe, normally just a couple hours stop on drive through up north. Thoughts become things, so choose the good ones.

If it's north of Glasgow you can take the laptop to play solitaire, you won't get much of a signal.
You should have all came to Scotchland this week, been ruddy roasting, I've got a weegie tan. Thoughts become things, so choose the good ones.

I forget the name of the site, but it's a caravan park in Invercoe right on the edge of loch leven, the scenery is outstanding.
Not sure if we tried there but I'll mind on the names.

What sort of thing are you after JustNat?
I island hop quite regularly here. But might be a bit quiet for your tastes.
I wouldn't recommend Dundee for anything. I'm not a fan of Edinburgh but other people lurve it. Thoughts become things, so choose the good ones.

Somewhere quiet would be lovely.

Posted 16th April 2010 14:47 IP Flange, I went to Arran a couple of years ago, and really enjoyed.
Especially the distillery at Lochranza
I've got a weekend with the lads in Split, Croatia coming up.
Then end of June I'm off to South Africa for the World Cup. Going to 4 games now, including the quarter final that England could get to.

Posted 16th April 2010 14:52 IP I go to Arran at least 6 times a year. Would love to stay there, perhaps one day.
The brewery went bust, but luckily was saved in the end.
Where did you stay SCP?
Are you worried about safety in SA? Thoughts become things, so choose the good ones.

Take a sleeping bag and find a park bench innit. Abortion - It sucks the life out of you.

I stayed in a hotel in Lochranza, but can't remember the name. Was lovely though.
Yeah, I visited the brewery the day they got out of administration. Which was good news, but they had no beer to try, which was a bit of a first for me
I then spent a few days in Glasgow, which I enjoyed.
I have read about the security issues in SA, but don't want to be too worried about it. I'll just try and use a bit of common sense. It does look a fantastic country.

I normally go to the east end of the island.
Did you pick Lochranza as it's within walking distance of the distillery? Thoughts become things, so choose the good ones.

Not really, it just looked a bit nicer than the port area, plus its on the bus route.
You can walk to the distillery, but I think it was a bit of a trek from where I was staying. There is a bus stop by it though.
Think I need to go back ,as I've finished my Arran Single Malt
