1) Where was you first family holiday abroad?

When i was 23 (ish) My father couldn't make a trip to Malta, so me mum changed the details and rooms, so i tagged along with her, me sister, her OH and my neice.

I didn't really see them for the week, excpet for when the morning of the flight home.

2) Where was you first holiday abroad with just your mates?

San Antonio en Ibiza when i was 17/18.
We used to get ready to go clubbing at 1200.pm and arrive back at the apartment at around 3 o' clock the next afternoon.

3) Have you ever travelled a country on you own?

Yes, europe, a bit of the Middle east (Israel, Jordon, Egypt) and Thailand.

4) Did you ever participate in a foreign exchange visit?

No wish i did tho.
I travelled to Germany, Holland and France with the school football team and the boxing club.

5) Anyone you know have time shares abroad?

My sister had one out in Albufeira in the Algarve, when they first started to become popular.

I thought it was just a middle class english ghetto tbh, and dont like the Algarve.

Everyone is talking about the closing ceremony at the Olympics and what was their favourite bit.

I just spoke to Nick Griffin, his favourite bit is today when they all fcuk off back home.

1) Where was you first family holiday abroad?

Salou, on the Costa Dorada - 1980 - I was ten and it was a very big deal

2) Where was you first holiday abroad with just your mates?

Funnily enough it was Salou - 1988. Seven of us went. We had a big row and split into 2 groups and were never the same again

3) Have you ever travelled a country on you own?

No. I spent a day and a night in Rome on my own, which I enjoyed, but I wouldn't want to travel extensively alone

4) Did you ever participate in a foreign exchange visit?

No

5) Anyone you know have time shares abroad?

No

I could write pages on the joys of solitary foreign travel, not that I've done anything like enough of it.

Still, travel with loved ones can be fun, too.

The things that paper does to shift copies, eh?

My local charity shops are full of discs that it's given away.
Almost always, it'll be the first disc in a series (Cranford, Brideshead Revisited, Barry Sheene's Guide to Poststructuralist Thinkers, etc.)

What happens is that you don't have to do anything to get the first disc: it comes with the newspaper. But you then have to send away for the remaining 11 discs or whatever. Chuff that for a game of soldiers!

Lol, i watched some of the Faliraki shows that were on late at night on ITV a few years ago, could have been any seaside resort in the UK

Tended to go out about 9ish, the other lads always aimed for the same (karaoke) bar. By 3-4am I was bored of it and would head back to the hotel bar, the other lads not that much further behind. Latest I got in was 9am but I'd been in another hotel for a few hours

It wasn't as bad when we went there, they'd cracked down on the worst behaviour

You can see it, but not from here!

See, if I say jnothing, there's just the faintest chance that you'll imagine that I have a trumpet to blow but have chosen to leave it in its case.

Well, it's true that I do have a trumpet-case. But it's empty.

Well they seem to travel all over, always stopping at different places, and I think they have a kind of points system where they aquire points and can "spend" them where they like. We went to Lanzarote with them couple of years ago, and they booked us the appartment with their points.

They call it time share, that's all I know.
