Posted 23rd September 2010 15:17 IP Today we are disputing the meaning of the word 'incentives' with colleagues who refuse to accept the dictionary definition. They want to say it means a 'rule of thumb' or 'mental shortcut'.
The sad thing is, we'll probably have to let them have their way or they'll complain to our director.

What's the harm in letting them complain? - they are obviously thick ...

I've to do a performance review for someone who don't realise they ain't very good but according to their self assessment they're all that and more. Normally I'd be blunt and straight to the point. But I've already upset this person in the past (I know that's hard to believe). And so have most people who have queried anything they've done. TBH I think they've got a bit of a personality disorder going on.
So basically how do you tell someone tactfully that they're ****e?

In work the now picking up some work, faaamily ain't happy bout that, probably cos they have to drive me around atm. I tell em they're lucky I didn't have a full one, else they'd be wiping my erse. Thoughts become things, so choose the good ones.

God, I'm sorry to hear that Flange.
Your family will be worried; Chris' Dad had two mini strokes and it was a scary time.
You shouldn't be at work
Take care http://www.doitforcharity.com/ngorman
