Any one a fan?
I write this with some trepedation as Henk will surely curcify me if I make and mistakes and Dick will villify me for starting an artcile about a French ponce but damn it I'd rate him above Satre and Camus.
Which of his novels, plays, poems or other writings did you, have you enjoyed from the man who could only be described at the true outsider.
Funeral Rites, Our lady of the Flowers and The Balcony are my favourites. The only downer for me was Querelle. Which may have something to say to homosexuals but is a complete turn-off for anybody else. As for the other books and plays I mentioned, not only is the writing good and original.
