Arsene Wenger has announced to BBC Sport that he wants to buy Fernando Torres in the winter transfer window.
When asked why he said,
"If I play him at centre back, at least we won't score any own goals."

according to one of the hacks in one of the red tops, if his form doesn't improve from now to x-mas, then they'll punt him of on a laon deal so a Spanish club, likely ones mentiond was Malaga and his old club Atletico.

I wonder if it would have worked for Torres if Chelsea had they had signed Modric?
I think Evra is right, it wasn't a so called walkover, they just had the luck of the draw, if chelsea were shaper, they could have easily gone on to nick a point up there.
