Posted 28th May 2012 09:26 IP Anyone seen this movie?
I watched it last week, it was quite a good movie and Meryl Streep's impersonation of Margaret Thatcher was very impressive. Abortion - It sucks the life out of you.

Posted 29th May 2012 11:27 IP No I have nt, but I'm glad the wonderful Mrs T has been immortalised on screen My life was in tatters because of my
obsession with the Okey-Cokey.
But I turned myself around and that's
what it's all about!

Posted 29th May 2012 12:23 IP Not necessarily in a good way though.
I was born under Thatcher and too young to remember her. But I do mainly agree with her policies from what I have seen/read about her time as PM. Abortion - It sucks the life out of you.

Yeah, I understood from a few people that have seen the film that it concentrates a lot on her latter years and mental health decline rather than her successful stint as British PM. My life was in tatters because of my
obsession with the Okey-Cokey.

Yes that is true.
But worth watching just for Meryl's impressive impersonation.
In fact, everyones impersonation was good. For a moment in the film, I thought Carol Thatcher was playing herself! John Major was a good one too. Abortion - It sucks the life out of you.

The only time you will see the words successful and Gordon Brown on the same page.

When you see a guy reach for stars in the sky
You can bet that he's doing it for some doll.
