It is fact though isn't it that most miscarriages happen before 12 weeks isn't it? Hence why the 12 week mark is when most people announce it. For what it is worth I wouldn't announce it that early to family let alone on a internet forum.
However I think this has been rather a un-nessary direction of this thread I think but not surprised by the comments. Give them the contempt they deserve, Dutchie.

On the contrary H.....dutchie has asked for advice and posters have expressed that telling people early is not what they would do. We are not in control of how they say it and dutchie is handling it well.
 I enjoy a glass of red wine each night for its health benefits. The other glasses are for my exceptionally witty comebacks, sarcasm, and flawless dance moves.

kinda harsh, but I get your point..
I thought this would be a safe place, where could actually express my excitement and "talk' about this without actually telling people close to me..
Guess I was wrong, thanks for clearing that up Ash II..
This board has suddenly completely lost it's appeal to me..

This thread is being closed.
It was set up for someone to share some good news - something that we can all do with at times, but some posts on it have upset the original poster and - as others have stated - have gone beyond what is really acceptable.
I hope that dutchie doesn't leave the board as a result, but I would completely understand her reasons for doing so.
