If you're married, what was your/your wifes wedding dress like?

Was it expensive?

What did you do with it afterwards?

If you're not yet married, what would you like to get married in? Would you wear this:

Any reason you're asking, Nat?
I know a dress that is going for a bargain price, only worn once

You can see it, but not from here!

Was it expensive?

I think it cost just under £800

What did you do with it afterwards?

Put it up in the loft for our eldest daughter to wear when she gets married........if indeed she does

If you're not yet married, what would you like to get married in? Would you wear this:

Yes, yes I would

SHE was deliberating between 2 dresses the 1st she saw was £1700, thn she saw a 2nd dress. The woman asked if SHE wanted to know the price. SHE said no, as she wanted to decide based on the dress not the price.

SHE chose the 2nd dress. It was

If someone sees what they like they may as well get it - plenty of other things will crop up to spend money on

We've brought it forward to next year.

Predictable response

Having looked into the finances we found we could go ahead and get married earlier than we thought - so why wait?

If I was to get married I'd want a simple dress, none of your meringues for me!
That peacocks one is quite nice, nothing wrong with it if it's what a bride wants.

Mine was white and pretty with a scalloped train. It was right for the fashion at the time and I felt like a princess. My Mum made my headress out of tiny pink silk roses, she was so clever She even sewed tiny diamante sequins onto my veil and it shimmered. It was a one off design but only cost just under £400 which even 16 years ago wasn't that much for a dress.
I enjoy a glass of red wine each night for its health benefits. The other glasses are for my exceptionally witty comebacks, sarcasm, and flawless dance moves.
