Welcome to the REALM OF HORROR discussion forums.
In order to maintain a modicum of peace and tranquility, I would respectfully ask all members adhere to the following guidelines...
1) Please keep the general banter friendly and try to respect others opinions, even if you don't necessarily agree with them. By all means argue the point, but don't turn it into a petty slanging match.
2) Try to resolve any personal differances by email or private message. Keep unfriendly arguments off the boards.
3) Strong language is permissable within reason, but no personal insults or offensive material intended to deliberately offend or upset other members.
4) If you have a complaint about a fellow member or a specific posting, please contact myself or another admin to deal with it. Don't fan the flames by posting further responses.
5) Keep subjects relevant to their specific forums, no off-topic postings please, otherwise they may be deleted or moved.
6) Authorised members are allowed to publicise items they have for sale (either privately or on Ebay) in the "Sales from the Crypt" forum. Only users with a minimum of 6 months membership AND have made at least 50 posts will be authorised. PM the admin (ie ME) for access. See the guidelines in the "Sales" forum for more details. All other forms of advertising for goods or services is a STRICT no-no.
7) The posting of links to illegal torrent threads or warez sites anywhere on this board is STRICTLY prohibited.
8) Horror related events and news that may be of interest to users of this site may be publicised in the "Horror" section, as long as they don't break any of the other guidelines. But no flooding the forum with adverts or bombarding members with private messages (ie spamming).
9) Members may include the URL of their site in their signature and personal profile, and you may promote your site in the "Link-o-Rama" forum as long as doing so doesn't contravene any of the above.
10) Postings that breach the above guidelines WILL be removed, serious offenders will have their accounts revoked and their IP numbers blocked.
11) New members who have not made any posts within 3 months of registering will have their accounts systematically removed. Though will be able to sign up for a new account if they wish to post in future.
