A Thread for all the best PS3 & X360 Demo's and Downloads .
This week see's Mortal Kombat hit the PS Plus store but expect it free in the Latest section of the Standard PS Store.
Other top free Demo's include, Motorstorm Apocalyspe (PS3), Killzone (3D PS3) Bulletstorm and the latest version of Konami's Moto GP series.
I'll update this Thread when any good Demo's become available and will try to include older Demos that are now re released on the PS3 / 360 budget Range. please feel free to add any you've come across that you would recommend trying.

A great Demo if you like Racing Sims is the FIA offical game WRC Championship 2010. It's not the prettiest of games but it plays beautiful . Worth checking out, especially if you liked Richard Burns Rally on PS2 / XBox .
The full game was released about 6 to 8 months ago and has a RRP of £37.99 but GAME LTD and ARGOS (Sp Ed) carry this with a RRP of £24.99.

Fun little PS3 / 360 Demo just out is WWE ALL - STARS . Good fast arcade gameplay that is fun in 10 min blasts. Like a Wrestling version of NBA Jam. (the guy who made Jam made this)
Wait for Mortal Kombat or Marvel v Capcom if you want a deeper fighting game though.

Tiger Woods 12 'The Master's' is well worth trying. (PS3/360)

Great Demo is Top Spin 4. (2K Games) Much more realistic than SEGA's Virtua Tennis . The latest Virtua Tennis was tested and rated for motion control as it supports all 3 formats. (Wii, Kinect, PSMove) PSMove got best with great depth perception and all round movement detection , with Wii Plus 2nd and 360 Kinect a very distant 3rd and being described as "basic"at best and best played with a standard pad.
Not sure if the Top Spin 4 Demo is motion enabled but definetly worth downloading.

None. The PSN is currently unexcessable as it's 'under matinence'.
I think nows a good time to discontinue my contribution to this Thread though as it dosent seem that popular.

I've tried getting on PS2 Nework all weekend and it's been inaccessible

True Rex, it's a long story of Hackers, and other problems that has lead to Sony suspending all PSN access as they have to basically dismantle then 'rebuild' the PSN from scratch to rectify the problem permanently .
Should be up soon, though you might lose your Friends list, Game Trophies etc .

Be careful mate, Sony has said a lot of peoples PSN account data has vanished and its reconed that online services using PSN were hacked.

I'm worried now that they could've got my details off Lovefilm, I know they couldn't get my bank details from my PS account because I cancelled that bank account some 4 months or more ago.
I find I don't get time to play on games these days and to be honest most I get to try that are supposed to be great games I always find them to be shit. I'm looking at getting hold of an old ZX Spectrum as I used to love alot of games on there, I also like C64 games and I still have one of those machines which I may hook up again today and buy some old games off ebay.
If the critics loved it then I probably hate it!!!

I got an Email from Sony saying all PSN users details have been hacked and that I should change any passwords on any other accounts I may have.
Things are very serious Rex as all financial details from every user got hacked.

I got same email m8, trouble is I've got so many accounts I don't recall some of them to go and change my details, it's pretty shit.
I also wander if Sony have attacked themselves here so they can use that fear/control technique to justify charging us for their online service, the same technique the yanks have used for years which J.F.K. tried to stop and we all know what happend to him.

There is something 'funny' about what went down for sure Rex. I recon you could be right mate about all future online sub's being paid accounts only. It works for MS with the 360 and brought in much needed cash and now Sony have the perfect excuse to make us pay for what was free and promised to remain free , especially with them bringing in 'outsiders' as sercurity advisers.

Cheers Vipco I hope yours are too. I doubt we'll get compensation either if we do get taken to the cleaners by some online theives.
By the way I've just bought an old Spectrum and Megadrive from ebay and digging my old C64 out for some retro gaming action

Think i'll go retro myself Rex and pick up an Atari Jaguar. Retro gaming, much safer than PS3 and way more fun. Happy gaming mate.

Well I've been playing some C64 games and yes graphics are crap compared to the new machines but the games are so much more fun, I'd forgotten how great Head over Heels is you just can't get stuff like that one the new machines. I've also got my speccy hooked up now and a megadrive has just arrived today (although I've only really got that to play 'Flashback' on as that's one of my all time fave games.
The problem I've found with new games is they are very limited in freedom of play they feel too set a patern and the war games look great but when you die every 30secs or so to have to learn how to do a new section gets on my nerves. I like challenging games but ones that give you a realistic chance once you've got used to the game.
If the critics loved it then I probably hate it!!!

I agree mate. Graphic's sell games today, not gameplay. Many a time i've heard "get that one, the graphics look awesome " from buyers in my local game shop but never nothing about the gameplay . All eye candy with short easy maps/levels , and of course frustrating glitchs and bugs that get overlooked or missed as Release Deadlines must be made as a game can become too old too quickly nowadays imho.
