Do we have any predictions on winner??

Im gonna say Anthony Kim, he played solid all weekend last year and shot a 65 in the final round. I believe he finished 3rd? Im looking for him to pick up where he left off.
Ive said it before and have been wrong, but I wouldnt be surprised if Tiger was in the mix somewhere at the top of the leaderboard. But I wouldnt be surprised to see him totally tank. We'll see

April 6th-10th best four days in sports IMO

Been watching coverage from Amen corner as well as holes 15 and 16 online all morning. ESPN coverage is about to start at 3!

Tiger was even through 13.

Take a nap at the ball game, catching up on some Z's. Buy me a five hour energy, take a nap with Hernandez and Ken Griffey. Snooze, snooze, snooze 'cause it's boring...if I wake up it is a shame. For it's 3, 4, 5 hours long at the old ball game.

Yang just came rather close to making an albatross on 13. He'll have like a 2 foot put for eagle. That'll put him at -5 and into 2nd behind McIlroy (who finished at -7)

Yang finished at -5 after going bogey, bogey on 17 and 18.

Tiger in great shape for tomorrow, won't start his round until later in the day and most of it will be televised during ESPN's coverage.

Lefty is having an alright round (-2 through 14), but left at least three birdies that you'd expect him to make way more than he'll miss. He also just blasted a drive on 15 that is less than a foot in the right rough and sitting up nicely, he may go for it in two.

Phil tapped in for birdie on 15 and is now -3 with 3 holes left to play. Pretty impressive considering he really hasn't made any putts at all today, including some putts that he normally makes in his sleep.

Hes missed several greens to, but has had 4 chips from all within 25 yards of the pin, and has put them all close. He really should be at 5 or 6 under. You are right, all in all very impressive

Phil bogeyed 18 and finished -2.

The group of Vegas, Woodland and Quiros (last group on the course) has been very exciting to watch. Those guys can really bomb it.

Quiros is -6 sitting in the 18th fairway, has a pretty good shot at tying Rory for the first-round lead at -7 from here one would think.

Edit:

Quiros dropped it to about 3-4' away from the pin and made the putt to tie McIlroy at -7 (beat his previous best by TEN shots) for the first-round lead.

Woodland finished -3 (6-under on the last 6 holes) and Jhonny Vegas finished even after three-putting 18.

Yep, I was just about the say that. It'd be cool to see them all make these birdie putts on 18 to finish off this round

For those of you with DirecTV, please tell me you checked out their coverage? They have about 6 channels devoted to coverage...a network feed, a few channels that follow a couple chose 3somes, coverage of amen corner, coverage of 15 and 16...pretty sweet.

AT&T U-Verse says they have all that as well....but nothing was on those designated channels all day today for some reason.

Tiger went on a tear on the back 9, birdieing 10, 13, 14, 15 and 18....and missed a 3-4' birdie putt on 16.

-7 through two rounds and will be paired with KJ Choi tomorrow, tied for 3rd.

Missed the cut.

But you still win cause you're the only one who made a prediction.

I was going to say Tiger Woods but I wussed out.

Why is it that no tv stations begins coverage until 3:30 after there has already been a lot of golf played today?

I was wondering that too. So I took a look at the Masters page on Wikipedia and found this pretty decent explanation: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ma...nt#Broadcasting

Day and McIlroy are tied for the lead at -9 coming to 13.

Rory had quite a birdie on 17 to extend his lead.

After 3 rounds it's:

McIlroy -12
Choi, Day, Cabrera & Schwartzel -8
Scott & Donald -7
Bo Van Pelt -6

^ there's someone from every populated continent on that list, with the top 5 being 1 from every continent but North America

Woods gave back 2 and is -5, Couples is still -5 and Phil is -3

The last group is only on the 3rd and there's already a tie for the lead at -11, on the strength of 2 great hole outs by Schwartzel. 8 people are within 3 shots of the lead, including Tiger who's starting to roll

Tiger eagled 8 to pull to within one of the lead at -10. Rory just bogeyed 5 and Tiger made a great putt on 9 to be tied for the lead at -10 with the back 9 to play.

Tiger is on fire, that was a 31 on the front. About the only thing Rory has going for him right now is that he has 4 more holes to work with than Tiger.
