I smell a fanboy.
Sure the graphics will be better, but no chance the gameplay is as flawless as it was in the first one.

MW better than MW2=correct
MW3 better than MW= I couldn't imagine why not with the new COD XP Starting up, sludge hammer making the game.

I may, in fact, jump ship and get battlefield 3 instead. The gameplay looks amazing.

My only issue I have with the COD series is the way they match people up online. I like ranking up and getting new weapons, perks etc. But after a month or two all you seem to play against are guys who have no life and play all day long. It takes the fun out of the game for guys like me who play 3 nights a week for a couple hours a night. Why not have a ranking system like Halo has? If you play a ton and are very good, you are going to play against similar people.
As for this game.....eventually the COD series are going to run out of new things to add and its evident that its getting close.

I am on of those guys you do not like playing against. HOWEVER i do completely agree that they need to have a ranking system because it is no fun going up against people that you can tell ether don't play a lot, and or are not good at all.

Im not horrible and usually can drop 15-20 kills a game....however, sometimes you get in this position where everyone you play against has the maps memorized and even know spawn points. I had someone throw a tomahawk damn near half way across the screen and hit me soon as I spawned. To me, it just takes the fun out of it. And I get it (not saying you are like this).....there are many guys on this game that basically have no life, no real friends and no woman and they play this game like its real life.
Also, I wish XBOX did more banning for the talking that goes on. Where the heck are the parents out there. Little Jr. High kids just cussing and name calling left and right. You win a game against someone who is a 10th prestige and they just start with the cussing and "yo mamma this...etc". It gets old to always have to mute half the people you play against because nobody can win or lose and take it. Xbox live or the makers of COD should do some random dropping in on games for those that get constant complaints against them and start banning.

I think the main reason they don't match people like HALO does is because they don't want the 'they only did that because HALO did it', etc. haters. Oh, and if you hate spawn killers, never play Goldeneye on 64 with Dwass. 
Take a nap at the ball game, catching up on some Z's. Buy me a five hour energy, take a nap with Hernandez and Ken Griffey. Snooze, snooze, snooze 'cause it's boring...if I wake up it is a shame. For it's 3, 4, 5 hours long at the old ball game.

[/quoted, I began playing Battlefield 2: Bad Company. I bought Black Ops when it came out and sold it off to a friend within 72 hours. The maps are much larger, graphics better, and just the overall strategy seems much more realistic to me. Can't wait for BF3 to come out, the beta should be out within the next two weeks.

I ordered two copies of the Hardened Edition (PS3) from frys.com. Order completed and I received my conformation number. Yesterday I noticed the charges had been refunded on my account. I called frys and they said that they over sold their stock by 160 units and that I would have mine after they received more stock. I swear they have no idea about their product or how the pre-order works. I told them that they basically F-ed me on the deal because I stopped looking for it once my order was complete. They did not even call me or send me an email letting me know to lube up first. Morale of the story..... even an order from frys.com can be sacked for ten yards.

Went out and got this game this morning. Freaking love it. What does everyone else think?
Have you guys used a token for the 2 Hour Double XP?
I went out and bought 2 12 packs of Mt. Dew today and plugged in my code and gained more Double XP Minutes.
I don't know about you guys but for some reason I love the IMS Kill Streak, racked up a lot of double kills with that badass thing!

I started playing last night, and it's definitely different. It's a lot more team oriented in my opinion. Problem with that is that most people are out to just get as many kills as possible, and as a result your team suffers some. The maps seem way more intricate to me than any of the series has thus far, but I suppose that is to be expected with better graphics, technology, etc.
I don't think this is anywhere near as good as the first MW, nor do I think the game play on any MW game will be as good as that one....but it is better than MW2, in my opinion.

I passed by a line of 300+ at Game Stop to be second in line at Walmart. Both stores are in the same strip. I think this should be Modern warfare 2.25. It is better than MW3 but its just the next in line. Kill confirm is pretty fun. If you run a group of two riot shields and a flanker it is easy to roll. The enemy focuses on the shields and the flanker stays protected while taking them out.

Game is ok. Graphics better, sound better, guns a bit better. Gameplay, the same. What totally sucks is the match making lobby. One minute I get into a game quick, the next, I sit there for 5+ minutes waiting for more players. Backing out and retrying doesnt help either. COD servers or lack of are ruining this game. That along with the countless TURDS that have already prestiged twice because they have no life outside of this game.

I have a group of about 13 people that play together, we are always playing in teams of 6. We went on a 36 game win streak. played by myself because no one was on and lost 12 out of 15 times.
Defiantly Team oriented

MW3 is way better than the original (Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare)
The one good thing about the new COD game is that the game is definitely team oriented. The objective based games on there blow, MW1 and MW2 out of the water.
Its a solid game

This game SUCKS when it comes to getting into one. Dang sometimes it takes 5+ minutes of just sitting there watching the ping %ages go up. And yes my NAT is open.

Had an interesting thing I saw the other day. A guy was laying on the ground, yet he was moving like he was running, which made it really tough to not only see him but shoot him. I swear, leave it up to people who know how to cheat.

Doesn't touch the old Javelin glitch for MW2.
I had more fun trolling games/people with that than I've had playing any video game in the past 5-10 years.

The match making is really bad on the PS3 side. I have a 64 game win streak but that is nothing compared to my friends. One has had three 100+ win streaks and another is up to 260 but that one is suspect. I think he pulls his cord. When my 100+ friend hosts we always end up playing against teams made up of split screen noobs.
Xparty.. that javelin glitch was such a pain. Made playing HQ impossible.
Any PS3 owners interested joining the IV_I_IX clan? We had to use roman numerals because someone already took 419 and they only have one member. It is nothing for us to go on 50+ win streaks.
