Posted May 18th, 2009 12:19 PM IP I don't particularly like hockey, and my favorite team is the Avalanche...but growing up my uncle was a huge Blackhawks fan so I would like to see them succeed. As a fan of hockey, I want to see Pittsburgh beat Carolina. Crosby and Malkin are a good thing for the league; showcase them. Take a nap at the ball game, catching up on some Z's. Buy me a five hour energy, take a nap with Hernandez and Ken Griffey. Snooze, snooze, snooze 'cause it's boring...if I wake up it is a shame. For it's 3, 4, 5 hours long at the old ball game.

Posted May 25th, 2009 09:56 PM IP Wings split in Chicago, droppingthe 4-3 OT contest mentioned above and then pounding the Hawks 6-1. Up 3-1 in games heading back to Detroit on Wednesday. BTW, Joel Quennville could take a lesson from Mike Babcock in reacting to the officiating. Besides, his selective memory overlooked that obviously bogus call against Kronwall in game 3. I don't like to see players hurt from any team, but if you play with your head down, bad things can happen too quickly in a hockey game.
