Posted June 15th, 2012 11:13 AM IP My biggest reason for not watching much NBA is the refs are horrible, almost as bad as the fake wrestling refs.
The way they call the game makes it nearly impossible to watch. D.L.BURNWORTH

Posted June 15th, 2012 11:20 AM IP I've been saying that for years as well, and that's why I enjoy the HS and college game so much more. But I do love the athleticism of the NBA and they're the best players in the world, so I certainly don't ignore the NBA. I always find it interesting when the USA plays in international competition and the game is called "correctly". And our guys scratch their heads and complain when they get called for traveling, etc.

Posted June 15th, 2012 11:45 AM IP It's all a circus show for the last 2 minutes. It's all about ratings.
The NBA wanted to even this series up after 1, that's why I bet Miami last night and hit. Easy pickins.

Posted June 15th, 2012 11:50 AM IP How was the foul on Westbrook early not on Bosh? Battier grabbed him way before the shot, but gave him 2 free throws. Lebron fouled Durrant on the shot for the tie but no way they call that on Lebron as Scarlet said NBA wanted a 1-1 spilt in OAK. and you know they want it to go 7 and will.

"Correct" is all relative. Dwight Howard and Blake Griffin would probably be the two best players in the NBA if we used all the same rules they do in some international play--no goaltending. Take a nap at the ball game, catching up on some Z's. Buy me a five hour energy, take a nap with Hernandez and Ken Griffey. Snooze, snooze, snooze 'cause it's boring...if I wake up it is a shame. For it's 3, 4, 5 hours long at the old ball game.

Posted June 16th, 2012 11:53 AM IP NBA refs have the toughtest job and they do the worst job.
It's obvious to everyone that travels are not called when players are at top speed or getting ready to launch. It's obvious to everyone that whistles are swallowed in the final seconds. One of the signature NBA playoff highlights is Jordan BLATENTLY pushing off on Russell to hit the final jumpshot and win his 6th ring. I mean, are you really telling me that (3) refs missed this call? they were watching something else?
I like NBA playoffs but you almost have to ignore the refs they are so bad, and it certainly appears to me they have an agenda on occasion, that agenda being to extend the series or make it as difficult as possible for one team win. WARNING: LITHIUM NO LONGER AVAILABLE ON CREDIT
