Posted June 19th, 2012 10:50 PM IP It would have sucked to lose that game because of a couple wild pitches, especially after the great plays that lead to the first 2 outs of that inning. That broken bat through the legs thing was pretty crazy.

Posted June 20th, 2012 10:42 AM IP Chapman had his first bad outing a couple of weeks ago against the Tigers. It seems he has lost his confidence and back to not throwing strikes.

Posted June 20th, 2012 09:45 PM IP Great outing by Masterson, one error away from having a complete game shutout, and what a way to finish it off by striking out the side.
Pretty sweet to respond to their sweep with one of our own. The Ohio cup will spend time in both cities this year, and we're back to 3 games up in the overall series at 42-39.
This was also our largest margin of victory of the year and guarantees we'll spend another day in first place.

Posted June 20th, 2012 09:45 PM IP Wow wow wow wow WOW.
Masterson was flipping sick tonight. He was good enough to throw a no hitter.
I am interested to see what his game score is. It was 83 on the opener, which was his highest since being in Cleveland. I am going to say he beat that tonight. This may have been the best start of his career. Give a man a fish, he eats for a night. Teach a man to fish, he eats for a lifetime.

Posted June 21st, 2012 09:05 AM IP I got back from my run last night and turned on the TV to see the top of the 9th. Masterson was sick! The Reds announcers were pretty much speechless. "Brick walls are there for a reason. They let us prove how badly we want things." Randy Pausch

Posted June 21st, 2012 09:17 AM IP The Reds are sooo frustrating. They have some talent but they play so damn streaking. Win 7 in a row and then get swept. Luckily they are still 8 games over .500. I guess 7-3 last 10 isn't bad, it's just winning 7 and then losing 3.
Latos hasn't done anything to show he's worth all the talent the Reds gave up. Homer Bailey is really stepping up of late so between Cueto and Bailey the Reds have 2 starters pitching well. Arroyo pitches well but it's always 1 inning that gets away from him.
Congrats to the Indians, my cell phone lit up last night from all my friends rubbing the "sweep" in.
