Posted March 5th, 2012 11:09 PM IP  Kevin Slowey. If he's at all healthy, he's the guy. Boy he sure seemed to kill the Tribe when he was in Minnesota. I liked the way Huff pitched at times last year, but you often never know what you're getting. At least we have a little more depth this year. GO TIGERS!

Posted March 5th, 2012 11:32 PM IP  Yeah I definitely agree that if Slowey completes the progression stages in Spring Training that the team envisions he is the guy. They normally don't trade for someone just for "depth" purposes. He's kind of like Tomlin in a sense that he makes you hit your way on.
I personally am voting for Gomez. Not that I'm against Slowey at all, but that's kind of why I made it into a two part deal. I think it's Slowey, but I would slightly prefer Gomez. I understand the situation though and am preparing for Slowey.
Good depth though overall as you mentioned. They are looking to open the season basically eight guys deep in the rotation plus Scott Barnes.
