A lot of good teams in the area. Should be interesting as the season starts to wind down.

Sandusky beat Norwalk 10-8 without Turner due to sickness. Good Win Streaks, I think Norwalk is overrated like they were in football.

Nice win by Willard over Bellevue 5-4.Fluharty went 6 1/3 and came out with bases loaded,Adelman came in to get the save.Good job Flashes. On a side note 3-4 Bellevue fans were tossed and not knowing exactly what was said I have to think the ump had thin skin.2 Willard cop cars and a sheriff to make sure there was no trouble might be a little extreme.

I was there. No profanity was said. There was a bad call on a third strike and a fan said a couple of things, nothing bad. Umpire didn't know who said it so he and the Willard baseball coach had them all removed.Funny thing is, not only did they call the police on those fans, they called 911 on them. Did'nt know yelling at an umpire at a high school baseball game is an emergency. It is in Willard though.

Fluharty gave up back to back doubles followed by a single in route to a 3 run first. Then he settled down and pitched 5 straight shut out innings including 10 strike outs, before being taken out in a bases loaded jam in the 7th.

And that whole fan fiasco was weird. I was really surprised to hear an umpire yell "call 911"

Heard the same thing about them all basketball season too. Not that impressive and overrated. 23-0 and hanging with loaded Whitmer in regional semifinals later ...

Also, most Norwalk fans without kids on the team on here knew the football team wasn't going to hang in the NOL with the big dogs. Most of the level-headed posters were up front with that.

17-2 with two-run losses to 13-5 Sandusky and 10-9 Willard is hardly overrated when you also look at their wins.

Norwalk is an excellent all around team! In baseball any team can win on a given night. The NOL race is very tight. Should be a fun week and a half with some great matchups! I believe this is the current standings with only 3 games left for each team!

Norwalk 5-2
Columbian 5-2
Bellevue 4-3
Willard 3-4
Sandusky 3-4
Shelby 1-6

I was there...He was told enough by the umpire and wouldn't stop, so he was tossed...doesn't have to be profanity, if ump says enough, its enough...then he thinks he can just ignore the ump and stay!!!??? The UMP told the coach to call the cops, Whitmer had nothing to do with the outcome, so quit trying to drag Willard into this....and if my fat mother was acting like that i would have kicked her out too!!!!! They all got what they deserved for acting like that. Its a high school baseball game!!!!!!!!!!!!

Golfnut44865 has definately stooped to an all time low. Ignorance goes a long way, even in Willard! A great game played by two good teams and you want to take a pot shot at someones mother.

I really hope this was in jest, a 17-2 team tied for first in the rugged NOL and the reigning champ. Yet they lose to a good D1 team that can't get to .500 in the league they lead and Norwalk is overrated? Come on man...

Unfortunately the issue between the umpire and some Bellevue fans somewhat over-shadowed a good ballgame. The umpire did say that someone said the wrong word.

Really proud of our Willard kids. They started the season 1-6 but have gone 9-3 since then including wins over very good Norwalk and Bellevue teams. Hopefully we can keep it going.

Just my two cents...wasn't there, know nothing about what happened...but I'm guessing one of the fans crossed the line with something they said...as FlashFan mentioned that the umpire said they said the wrong word, that's all that needs to be done for a fan to be booted, same goes in basketball...I get yelled at and don't mind it but once you cross the line....it's over...and to the people saying "it's in Willard what do you expect" and things like that, the game being in Willard had nothing to do with the situation. This was obviously between the ump and the fans. Not Willard.

Anyway, back to the game...congrats Willard, nice wins over Norwalk and Bellevue on the year now.

Yep, that's right.

....its easy for someone like him to take a shot at someones mother when his own mother is sitting in the reformatory in Marysville

Sandusky played a nice game today against Norwalk. Hats of to both teams. Turner did not play, (SICK). Not a good time to tell a joke when any kid is ill.
