Posted March 10th, 2012 08:48 AM IP BGSU is a host site for this years 2nd and 3rd round games.. obviously with yesterday's loss BG will not be in the ncaa.
the latest bracketology has
#5 Georgetown
#12 Florida Golf Coast
#4 Georgia
#13 Eastern Mich
if they move #5 ohio state (currently projected for College Station) to BG and move Georgetown to College Station I can live with this.... otherwise...ugggg THE TIGER NATION.. represented in 50 states and parts of Canada!

Posted March 13th, 2012 08:48 AM IP how does a team that ends the season 16th and 18th in the polls get an 8 seed? That is crazy. They should have been a 4-5 seed

Posted March 13th, 2012 10:11 AM IP coach foster said he was 'shocked" that the 2nd-place Big Ten team would be seeded so low....said he has never seen anything "so egregarious (sic)" in his life....said osu beat two #5 seeds and a #4 seed in the tournament, went 13-0 in non-conference......said "things have to change" in the ncaa selection room....pretty strong comments, but justified as his girls got the proverbial 'shaft" from the ncaa... Posted March 13th, 2012 03:39 PM IP i honestly thought IF ohio state was to come to BGSU, it would be the #5 seed vs #12.. then Mac Champ EMU vs whoever... but didnt happen...kinda a stab in the back to baylor to force them to play clear up here.... kinda stupid if you ask me...but im happy cuz i get to see quality teams .. If in fact this is what the reasoning behind their bizaar seeding of the Buckeyes, it is certainly unethical and unprofessional in every respect.
No way should a selection committee be biased by past years performances or personal team and conference preferences.
A selection committee should make decisions solely on this years team performance, wins and losses, SOS from this season and this season alone. Again, to do otherwise is unethical, unprofessional and certainly unfair

Truth.
However we must face facts, OSU's developed a 'rep' of having 'nice regular seasons, winning big 10 titles, flopping horribly in the ncaa dance'.
If we're going to play like an 8 seed yearly then the NCAA's gonna grant us our wish.
Wanna change that Buckeyes? Beat Florida without pouting and then bring it strong against Baylor.
Lose to Florida and next year you'll be a 10 seed.

Posted March 14th, 2012 07:21 PM IP it should not matter if you lose 10 consecutive first round games...
you should be seeded based on your season, not your past seasons..
Ohio State definately deserves better then an 8 seed..
however, no higher then a 3 seed.
which means... 3rd round and gone! so this season will be 2nd round and gone... unless they are unbelievable on the 3 point line...b/c its going to be one shot and out... Now if Big Brittany is in deep foul trouble...then it favors Ohio STate..

Posted March 18th, 2012 02:29 PM IP Slow, overweight post players, lack of hustle. Better players in the state don't even give the Buckeyes consideration. Certainly not a national power. Coach complained about his seed. Players acted like they didn't want to be there. Maybe, there needs to be a change. Again, SEC speed makes us look slow. Disappointing post season again.

I thought we were better at the guard spot but the Adams girl just kills OSU on the defensive end.

It's also working the other way too. Foster didn't even attempt to recruit Cierra Bravard until she was entering her senior year of high school. And I can tell you some area girls up this way (names I won't mention but can be figured out) have gotten nothing more than the casual letter from Foster, while receiving full rides already to play elsewhere. "If you're my enemy and you're by the side of the road with a flat tire, and it's 20 below zero, I'm going to stop and throw a gallon of water on you and keep going."

Posted March 18th, 2012 06:21 PM IP My first live view of Baylor... I can tell you this.. Ohio State has 3 names on their roster that could crack Baylor's top 10, only 1 would start (Sammy P)
most of the team wouldnt make their roster as their subs were better then most Big 10 teams...
anyways...from a cell phone video Brittany Griner giving the fans what they wanted to see...a couple pregame dunks

Posted March 18th, 2012 09:17 PM IP Watched Delle Donne of the Delaware Blue Hens for the first time today.
She is the nations scoring leader and undoubtedly the best female basketball player in America. She could play for a lot of men's teams.
She has post up moves to match any man and is a good ballhandler and soft shooting touch for one 6'5.
I don't think she can beat Baylor with the team she has around her though. Government has no resources of its own.
