You don't know how to buy shoes. An INDEPENDENT testing firm was required by Athletic Dept. 13

Ha. Take a nap at the ball game, catching up on some Z's. Buy me a five hour energy, take a nap with Hernandez and Ken Griffey. Snooze, snooze, snooze 'cause it's boring...if I wake up it is a shame. For it's 3, 4, 5 hours long at the old ball game.

Posted August 7th, 2012 09:55 AM IP Ohio State still after Mike Mitchell LB out of Texas. They have also thrown out an offer to Daniel McMillan (Florida commit) who says he will visit. Would love to get both, hope we get 1. Personally I think we don't end up with either as distant is just too great to overcome.
The '14 LB recruiting should be strong as we are in on 3 studs already.

Posted August 8th, 2012 01:34 PM IP An update on Florida commit Daniel McMillan. He is being recruited by Luke Fickell and Ryan Stamper (Grad assistant who played at Florida and is from the same high school as McMillan).
Also, Tony Stevens a FSU commit, Wide Receiver who knows tOSU needs receivers.
Finally, Dorian Johnson the big OL that had committed to PSU. Looks like Pitt is the favorite but lets see if Urban can do his magic. He's from the Pittsburgh area so it's a matter of playing at home or win National Championships.

This.
Every time I skim through one of these threads it makes me glad I don't follow recruiting very closely. Seems like it's an endless pattern of "OSU fan posts something positive, UM fan tries to spin it as not being a big deal.....UM fan posts something positive, OSU fan tries to spin it as not being a big deal"
Anyway, I'm still wondering where redskin got the idea that Anzalone would have driven through Columbus to get to South Bend. His silence on the issue since being called out on it suggests that he knows he was wrong, I'm just curious as to whether he simply made an odd assumption about which route Anzalone would take, or if he was basing it on some other info he had.

Thats your lame excuse?
So in otherwords you tried to use someone else's info as your own and then when it backfired you tried to put it on someone else?

Posted August 10th, 2012 08:35 AM IP Well, I think everyone uses another source to post info. I do....I have no direct line to Meyer's office with recruit decision making. I get majority of mine from Buckeyeplanet.
I'll have to check 11 warriors....I know buckeyeplanet credits them with info a lot.

Yeah, all of us use other info to post on here, but we don't claim it as our own.
RSF tried to use the info as his own and when he got called out on looking stupid it was suddenly info he got from a Buckeye based Website.
So he tried to push it off on a pro Buckeye site so that they looked stupid, and not him.

THAT is how it's done Redskin!! No one is impressed when you post.... 13

I appreciate the new and latest developments he brings, but the continual Michigan ad nauseum gets really old.
Seeing some daylight after 8 years of doldrums can make you act that way, I suppose....lol Government has no resources of its own.
Government can only give to us what it has previously taken from us.

Shane Morris gets his 5th star
Cam Burrows drops his 5th star

Posted August 21st, 2012 08:43 AM IP I think Shane has stock with Rivals. He goes to every camp and does every interview. They love that guy......
Burrows didn't camp well and his rankings reflect that but on the field last year is how he earned the 5*. Some players just don't camp well.
If you look at the Rivals list of ones who got higher rankings and ones that dropped, it was strictly over their camp performance or non-participating in camps. Many players dropped because they didn't attend camps.

Posted August 21st, 2012 09:04 AM IP Here is what makes me question Rivals and their stars...
Michael Hill is the #1 rated player in south Carolina and the 5th overall DT in the country according to Rivals but he's only a 4 star? (not that the one star really makes that big of a difference but just to put things in perspective).
Another example...Joey Bosa, the #4 overall rated DT in the country and is a 6.0 out of 6.1 on Rivals ratings but only a 4 star?
Scout is still my favorite recruiting site anyway. Yep, that's right.

I don't really give a damn. Show me what you have on the field when you are being coached up by one of the best to ever coach the game.

DAMN YOU! haha jk
Personally I don't care what recruiting sites really say. It's fun for us fans but the coaches know what they are after. With being coaches at major D1 universities I assume they know what they are doing and they know what they need. The product on the field is the only thing I care about. I would love to see classes reranked after the class has moved on. I think we would see some stark differences.

Posted August 24th, 2012 08:42 AM IP Sports Illustrated has an article about Eastern Christian School (not even a school). Many of their players are from the old Red Lion school out of Delaware. Anyway, the owner of this school is the father an USC quarterback recruit (2014). Basically this is a football training facility acting as a school. They have multiple DI recruits and some have already committed to USC (imagine that, the owner of this school who has a son going there and now other players will be going to USC). Smells very fishy to me......gonna have to read the article tonight but didn't know if anyone else had heard about this errr school?

NCAA should be hot on this one.
Wonder if perhaps there are more links with USC beyond simply an owners loyalties......smells indeed! Government has no resources of its own.

I guess I missed where redskin tried to claim it as his own info. Sure, he didn't cite his source...but about 95 percent of the posts on here don't have sources. It's pretty much implied that no one on this board has any inside info except for maybe drtorch. Take a nap at the ball game, catching up on some Z's. Posted August 25th, 2012 07:14 PM IP I thought the same thing. If one never takes required classes, how do they get a high enough ACT score? If they only play sports how is the school accredited?? One has to graduate from an accredited school or home school an accredited curriculum to get into college.

LSU and North Carolina also in the mix.
