Posted April 29th, 2012 07:47 PM IP Hankins has definitely impressed me. He's put the work in and is probably capable of playing in either a 4-3 or 3-4. Not that we are in bad shape, but he's gotta be making the MSU coaches regret not taking him.

Posted May 3rd, 2012 02:39 PM IP “Their new football coach calls us Ohio (as opposed to Ohio State),” Matta said. “The basketball coach calls us Ohio. ... A reporter asked me one time, ‘Thad, how do you feel about them calling you Ohio?.’ I said, ‘My man, I’m 16-3 against Michigan in eight years. They can call us whatever they want to.’ ” Yep, that's right.

If anyone's regretting not taking Hankin's it's Michigan. The kid would have committed on the spot if Michigan had offered over the summer or even into the early fall. Rich Rod screwed that one up big time.

After last season, I think that UM's basketball coach knows the difference--at least in uniforms. The results were the same, though, so he can be excused for the confusion. Barack Hussein Obama: living proof that anyone can become President of the United States.

That'd be about like a cop pulling someone over for going 36 in a 35. Yep, that's right.

Posted May 18th, 2012 02:44 PM IP Urban Meyer said "Good Luck" to a recruit who said "Hello" to him on his way to the field.
OSU being punished for a kid being a decent human being and saying hello...
We are expected to ignore his "Hello" and shun the kid? Then what does that do for recruiting.
LOL
NCAA can go Die!

Posted May 18th, 2012 06:06 PM IP These all crack me up...
The OSU rowing coach was in contact with what he thought was a 12th grader(Senior) in HS from Germany, turns out they have 13 grades and so since the kid was not a 13th grader OSU was in violation. LOL.
A Track recruit went paintballing and OSU was given a violation because that Track kid was able to showcase his athletic ability by playing paintball.
Recruits get 60 bucks for Entertainment and they went from 1-5$ over their limit b/c of their cab ride to the movies. Violation.
It is seriously time for a MAJOR change in the NCAA.

Posted May 19th, 2012 01:01 PM IP Doesn't the NCAA have anything better to do? These "violations" are ridiculous and a complete waste of time and resources. Something needs to be done to bring the rules into the 21st century.

Posted May 19th, 2012 01:18 PM IP I know the NCAA has a "President" But I think a good idea and way to fix it would be to have like a commissioner for College Football...
Then have another Commissioner for College Basketball...
Then you can use Mark Emmeritt, the President of the NCAA to control all the other sports, such as Baseball, Track, Field Hockey etc.
Because the NCAA as it is now is all over the map and way out of control.

What we saw here is just one university....wouldn't it be more fair to publish the entire list of secondary violations from all participating NCAA schools?
I know why....it would probably occupy an entire newspaper page....lol...and let's not forget there is obviously an agenda driven purpose to focusing exclusively on tOSU.
I always want to see the entire picture, not just that which the press deems us worthy to witness.
Government has no resources of its own.
Government can only give to us what it has previously taken from us.

These were made to the public because the Plain Dealers Doug Larsemies asked for the file and then reported it himself. This wasn't like National Media digging it up and just trying to make OSU look bad. Once it hit Twitter that is how ESPN and others got a hold of it...nothing was released with the intentions of making OSU look bad....however, ESPN and CollegeFootballTalk all made it seem like OSU did this terrible thing again....
They are all just secondary violations so I really don't care, I think these were made public just to show everyone how dumb the NCAA is...

and of course in the comments section the clueless came out.

(edit)
Here's what Clarke tweeted..."Sooo...lets see how urban meyer's bitch *** handles this one?"...obviously can't take responsibility for his own actions, as I stated above. Yep, that's right.
