congrats to Curt Watson for being named District Player Of The Year. For a player to be named player of the year on a 5-5 team is one hell of an accomplishment. There were a few posts who questioned if he should be on the nol first . Well i guess those questions have been answered!!

Is he the same watson who was refered to as being"not very athletic" from some moron on here not too long ago? For someone not being athletic, those are some real nice accomplishments.

mr.know it all.. i think you have a different idea of what "athletic" means, then what some of the other posters on here do.

When I think of athleticism it has to do with a players speed, jumping ability, agility, etc.

I personally don't think Watson is the most athletic of players either, but he's a hell of a quarterback with decent mobility, good decision making, and a rocket arm.

It's not his athleticism that makes him a good quarterback.. you don't have to be overly athletic to be a good quarterback..

It's not a knock on Watson, I just don't think he's the most athletic.. I do think he's a good quarterback..

you, my friend, have no clue what your talking. Not only only did he throw for almost 2,500 yards and 17 tds., he also ran for over 400 yards and ran for 13 tds. That's almost 3,000 combined yards and 30 tds. Seeing that your from tiffin, i'm sure you didnt spend your fri. nights watching bellevue redmen football, and watching curt play for the last three years. As far as curt being a good qb, i would think of somebody as tittle as being in that catagory, to be district player of the year, all-ohio first team, you have to put him in that catagory of one of the great qbs. in the state of ohio.

CONGRATS to Watson!!! One of the best QB's to come out of the NOL. Put him on a great team and he would have done even more. The kid deserves all the recognition. He's proving the nay-sayers wrong.

WTF? Its up to him help to make the team great & if he was on a real great team the great team would have run the ball more. He is a good player, no need to make him the second coming of the Messiah.

This is crazy stuff I am reading. Not sure how announcing the NOL players that made all NW district turned into a rip on session.

Congratulations to all three Bellevue boys and all the other NOL players for representing the NOL with pride.

Did he?? Good for him. On the flip side of things, I bet he wishes he would of come to Bellevue tho. A better QB to throw him some passes?! Shame.

True maybe the score against Tiffin may have been closer, 69-14? Then again in the end it really would not have made a difference.

this turned into a rip session because a couple of outsiders cant stand the idea of somthing good happening to a couple of our redmen players-pretty sad isnt it

I've got zero problem with Bellevue player's, coaches and tradition it's their **** talking fan's that piss me off. The crash of the redmen was unfortionate for the kid's and coaches but for their fan's it was a " Welcome to reality season". Bellevue is not what they were in the 90's and likely never will be that dominent again. Time's have changed, the game has changed and Bellevue in many way's has been left behind.

if it pisses you off so much, you have three choices,

1.stay on the sbc site
2. stay away from the nol site
3. see a shrink
