NOSF Preseason Poll
1 - 278 - Tiffin Columbian (21)
2 - 271 - Bellevue (15)
3 - 220 - Shelby (1)
4 - 187 - Galion

Media Presason Poll

2. Bellevue 125 (7)
3. Shelby 98 (1)
4. Galion 83
5. Willard 54
6. Fostoria 51
7. Norwalk 38
8. Upper Sandusky 37

Final Standings
1 - Galion
2 - TC
3 - Bellevue
4t - Shelby
4t - Willard
6t - Fostoria
6t - Upper Sandusky
8 - Norwalk

I've noticed that just about every year there is 1 team that does MUCH better than projected. Either projected 8th and finish 5th, or as Galion did this year 4th and finish 1st.

Typically there is one team that falls on their face.
Bellevue was 1 pt from being ranked #1 in the Media and 7 from #1 in the NOSF poll. Then they proceeded to go (5-5). They may have finished 3rd but they did way worse than they were projected to. (10-0) talk with that D? Yikes.

1) I need my memory refreshed; who was talking 10-0?

2) I don't think people realized how bad the Bellevue D was going to be.

1972, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, 1988, 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2009 World Champions! Will the Lakers Repeat? YES!

Who else, Bellevue HS students. They haven't matured enough to understand you have to play defense to go 10-0. If you just play offense you go (5-5).

A message for you, and apparently moreso to BBmind; I wouldn't get too wrapped up on what overjealous HS Students state.

Thanks for posting this. It illustrates just how much Coach Hawkins has done in Galion and how hard our kids have worked. I appreciate it.

Awesome season for Galion, no doubt about it. Hard to swallow in light of Friday's loss.
If 4 out of 5 people suffer from diarrhea, does that mean one enjoys it??

Why is a spork, not called a foon???

Message to me? I'm pretty sure it wasn't HS kids saying they could still go 9-1 after losing in Week 1. If you need me to ttt the thread I can or you can trust me, the statement of still having a chance of going 9-1 was made after week 1.
That's why I'm bbmind.

8-17 in the last 25 for RR. Coach Tressel is 8-1 vs. Michigan with two of the next three at home so will be no worse than 10-2 vs. them in his first 12 as he's never lost to them at home. More than likely 11-1 but for argument's sake a possible 10-2. Michigan fans and those that like them from Ohio can't like the turnaround we've put on them.

Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
