A lot of NOL fans have been happy for Galion this season. I've talked to numerous fans from around the NOL that have expressed their support for our team.

The nice comments have come from all the schools but in my own personal experience it seems Tiffin fans have been the most supportive. It's cool that the community that has had so much success has been so gracious.

I hope some of you can come to our game Saturday. It would be really cool to see Willard, Shelby, Norwalk, Tiffin, Upper, Bellevue and Fostoria jackets in the stands. Thanks for enjoying the ride with us.

I plan on taking my 6-year old and I to the game. Since Cedar Point is closed, and my other store is closed for 2 weeks, I can finally make a game.

Jake, since you know GoKats, sit with him because I sit right behind him (along with Giff x's 2) and I will get to meet you.

As long as no one goes to the Galion away stands built partially for people no taller than Danny Devito and partially for Vince Vaughn. Barely any room between seats and one seat is barely above another, but then there's a big drop from the seats to where the walkways are.

About the same as the visitors side in Bellevue. Scary to say the least.

Hmmm - about the same as any visitors seats I sat in this year! You're more than welcome to come sit on the Galion side. We love our plush down comforted seats.

I am definately coming to Galion to support Coach Hawk and Coach Opatken and the rest of the Galion team. You guys had a good team this year, dont let anyone else tell you any different. People can compare this bull**** with this other bull**** but in the end it doesnt matter. That is why you play the games on friday night. Congratulations to the Galion Tigers

I would normally support all NOL schools in tournament play but since they are running to the NCC I don't see much point

Have you been reading the information available in the newspapers? I think you will find the reasons. Just be careful to not read too much on this forum, it may be tainted information.

Why do you want to pull support from an NOL school or school from this area just because you do not understand the reason for leaving the NOL?

No matter your feelings or understanding of the situation, it is still appropriate to support NOL and local teams that make playoff or tourney runs. This is a time to put rivalries and other issues aside. Galion is representing the NOL and this area of Ohio.

Crusader, It's cool, stay home. Not everybody is going to support Galion and that's completely fine. This thread was started for the cool people that do and will continue to do so Saturday night.

crusader, glad to see you can support Galion. And certainly agree it would be great to see the NOL survive. I cannot attend the game but will cheer for Galion.

Coach Chris is a personal friend and I am glad he has been able to see rapid improvement in his program.

This discussion, of Galion leaving the NOL, happened months ago on this forum. Sorry, you just now wanted to talk about it and voice your opinions. Contact Galion's superintendant and she will give you flyer with the information as to why Galion is leaving.

A lot of positve comes from a wiinning team, maybe time to have the people pony up & update the place? I have to say, I was quite impressed with Upper Sandusky's digs, It took a few years but for a DIV team in the middle of no where, hard to beat. Thet even have a crown in the middle of the field, hear that Willard? Good Luck to Galion this week.

I am torn because I would like to support Galion but I have a buddy who's son plays for Edison and I have been wanting to watch Genoa all year. Last year I watched Genoa beat Fostoria and saw them dismantle Clyde in the scrimmage this year. I know there are some Galion fans who seem to think that Genoa is not that tough but they are very fun to watch with explosive play after explosive play on both sides of the ball. Hopefully both Galion and Genoa can win a few games so I can watch both play each other.

I won't be able to go to this game, but if Galion wins there's a good chance I'll go to their next game.

I'm guessing that if Galion wins their next game will be in Tiffin or Findlay (if it's against O-G) or Ashland or Mansfield (if it's against Triway)

Support your buddy's son......friends are important! (Not that you are not wanted in Galion).

p.s.-- I for one have NEVER said Genoa is not that tough!

Loyalty?? The NOL has a communicable disease. Four schools left in the past 8 years.

All NOL fans are welcome in Galion. Great little sports bar two blocks from the stadium on Portland Way, great before and after the game.
