How do they do it?

Cal Preps Rankings
50.8 - (10-0) - Delphos St John's ------------ #1 in D-6
44.0 - (9-1) - Coldwater ----------------------- #1 in D-5
37.2 - (8-2) - Anna ------------------------------#4 in D-5
35.3 - (7-3) - St Henry -------------------------- #5 in D-5
26.5 - (6-4) - Versailles ------------------------- #12 in D-5 ---- Did not make playoffs
23.9 - (5-5) - Marion Local --------------------- #6 in D-6
16.0 - (5-5) - New Bremen
5.3 - (3-7) - Fort Recovery
-0.5 - (1-9) - Minster
-5.3 - (1-9) - Parkway

For Comparison
30.9 - (10-0) - Norwalk St Paul - would have went 6-4 and finished 5th in the MAC
25.9 - (9-1) - Carey - would have went 5-5 and finished 6th in the MAC
21.7 - (10-0) - Wynford - would have went (4-6) and finished 7th in the MAC
19.9 - (10-0) - Galion - would have went (4-6) and finished 7th in the MAC

28.6 - 2008 Fostoria - would have went (6-4) and finished 5th in the MAC

(5-5) Marion Local is good enough to compete with just about anyone in D-6, yet finished 6th in the MAC. How does this conference do it?

And before Galion Homers get on here and cry and whine and moan about how they are better than those MAC teams. Blah, blah blah

2004
Delphos St John's went 6-4 and finished 5th in the MAC
Yet beat Bellevue (29-28). That Bellevue team went 7-0 in the NOL. That Bellevue team won a playoff game (52-14).

2005
31-0 - DSJ's beat Bellevue - Bellevue went (4-3) in the NOL

Seriously, how does the MAC do it? How do they typically have 4 to 5 teams every year capable of winning a State Title?

I bet you thought Tiffin and Bellevue and a couple of other teams "would have" beat Galion too....

Bellevue

Again GALION was the FAVORITE vs TC

When will you Galion Homers learn the NOL was pathetic this year

YOU WERE BETTER THAN TC

YOU WERE BETTER THAN ALL 10 TEAMS YOU PLAYED

YOU ARE FAVORITES VS EASTWOOD

Doesn't change the fact that the Vogel Rankings and Cal Preps see you for who you are, a team that would have finished 4th in the NOL last year.

Too bad last year doesn't matter for this season..

Plus.. you have NO WAY of knowing any of that...pure conjecture...

As to the MAC...they are a heck of a conference of small schools ... farming communities (for the most part) where work ethic is burned in early!

Galion people

They have played 10 games vs teams that would have finished bottom half of the NOL most years, and their 11th game is again vs a bottom tier NOL school in most years.

Yep, Galion is the greatest.

8-0 Iowa is the greatest. Look at their record, 8-0. It means they are the real deal. How dare anyone say that the 1995 Nebraska Cornhuskers would whip on them. No chance, Iowa is 8-0.

How dare anyone say 2005 Texas would beat (8-0) Iowa. (8-0) says it all. Every year is EXACTLY the same. That means (8-0) Iowa = 2005 Texas = 1995 Nebraska

Carry on Galion fans in complete denial of reality.

Genoa is 24 pt favorites vs Galion. But how dare I say that. Galion is 10-0, it means they are as great as anything out there or anything that has ever been. Never mind that Galion has played 10 teams they were favored against. Galion fans are just going to ignore that point and pretend they have been underdogs.

(5-5) Bellevue is a juggernaut in Galion's eyes. Says a lot right there. Worried about a (5-5) team. Yikes.

Funny how it always comes back to Genoa with some people.

Please put this thread in the MAL section.

Genoa is a great team, but they are not favored to win the Division 4 Championship, that would be Kettering Alter. So obvisously Vogel they are not the juggernaut you think they are.

This thread is remotely interesting because the MAC is a great conference. Without the references to Galion this would be a fun conversation. Unfortunately it always goes back to Galion. Vogel enjoys comparing Galion to the best year ever in the NOL and the best small school conference in Ohio.

Stay tuned for next week when Vogel breaks down how Galion would finish in the SEC.

I know that. And that PROVES my point even more.

Alter is the overwhelming favorite to win the State Title, not Genoa. And Galion doesn't stand a chance vs Genoa. Just goes to show you how far off Galion is to being this juggernaut half of the town of Galion thinks they are.

If Galion is on par with 1996 Bellevue, 1999 Willard, etc then they should be able to play tick for tack with Genoa and the game should come down to the wire.

1996 Bellevue, 1999 Willard, etc had teams capable of getting lucky and winning State. Yet all I keep hearing out of Galion is that 2009 Galion is just as good if not better than those past teams. 2009 Galion would not finish lower than 1st in the NOL those years. No way would 2009 Galion finish 3rd or 4th. 2009 Galion is better than that.

Well SHOW US.

Eastwood = 5th place NOL team most years.

SMASH THEM. If not then shut up. Genoa will win going away, and Genoa is on par with 1996 Bellevue, 1999 Willard etc. If you want to talk about how you guys are so good then for the 1st time in 11 weeks show it. Otherwise you are the team we saw 10 out of 10 games.

Vagelsil is a broken record. Does he forget what he has said previously? Or, is he just a doucher? The fact that he even brought up Galion in this topic is beyond me..... The thesis of his first post has nothing to do with Galion, but yet, he somehow manages to insert a sentence or 2 about Galion in the middle.

As for the Galion fans, stop talking to him.

We don't think Galion is anything other than 10-0 NOL Champs. We think a team that was picked to do no better than 4-3 in the NOL and 4th place proved you and everybody else (including myself) to be wrong. A bunch of kids that were not unbeaten in 7th, 8th and 9th grade came together and earned the respect of an entire league. Our seniors are great and they will be remembered for greatnesss on the field. Not in comparison to anybody but simply for finishing the goal they had set a year ago.

Galion was brought up for COMPARISON.

Funny how St Paul people are not on here crying. They KNOW.

Only Galion HOMERS are on here crying.

St Paul would smack Galion this year, and those same St Paul fans know they'd finish 5th in the MAC. Yet you Galion HOMERS ignore the topic and take it as a shot at you.

PLEASE win 2 playoff games so you can face Genoa. Then shut up after Genoa smacks you by 3+ TDs.

How dare I say Galion would not be 10-0 in 2001.
How dare I say Galion would not be 10-0 in 2008
How dare I say Galion would not be 10-0 in 1998
How dare I say Galion would not be 10-0 in 1997

Galion is the greatest, they'd be 10-0 every single year in every single league.

Saying they'd be 7-3 in 2008 is pure disrespect for this unbelievable Galion team. It's so great that even the '72 Dolphins can't believe their eyes.

Reality has no place in this world. Galion is the greatest. How dare I ever say 2009 Galion wouldn't be the best team in any other year. So disrespectful.

Well then why don't you drive your time machine over to Galion and let all of the football players in it so that you can prove to everybody on here that the 2009 Galion team would lose in said years. Oh wait, none of this **** that you are saying can be proven because it can't happen!!! OMG!!!

"Galion Homers" and Willard "has beens" battling it out once again.

Normally I don't stoop to the name calling level but since Vogel has been calling us "NCC Cowards", "Galion Homers" and "Losers" for 2 years I guess his shoe fits.

Why would a self proclaimed genius resort to childish name calling so often?

Vogel brought them in "for comparison." Don't forget he also added in about Galion fans crying. ^^^

Also, let us question why this thread is in the NOL section. He just had to make sure all the Galion fans saw it, right Vag? Vogel is such a nice guy. He posted this entire thread with the sole purpose of starting a riot. What a juvenile thing to do. Period.

Vogel, are the sponsers paying you by the post count now? Gotta make some extra cash?

2009 Galion is the best team ever. 2009 Galion would finish 1st in the MAC, go to the playoffs and destroy Genoa, go back in time and win the 2001 NOL championship, and be back in time for dinner. --- I'm pretty sure this is a summary of what Galion fans are saying. So please Vogel keep elaborating on points that Galion fans are NOT saying.
