Still the hardest working kid in GT and showing and leading a few more kids in his work out program. Great kid and dad.

Posted June 2nd, 2012 03:26 PM IP David has several schools recruiting him. I can think of a few that are close to offering but I will keep them to myself and let his family share that info if they want to. I have no doubt that he will be playing major college football and I can't wait.

Posted August 5th, 2012 06:02 PM IP I agree RoyalNut if he stays healthy he will be fun to watch ! Talked to a couple of coaches and they said he's 10 pounds heavier and a little faster than last year. Hudson27 I don't see why they won't hang with Galion there the best around until someone knocks them off there throne. I know they lost some great talent but i'm sure the well isen't dried up yet. Go Tigers

Posted August 6th, 2012 12:17 AM IP Senior is the only game that matters right now. If Galion doesn't win that one season basically degenerates into a series of let's see how many records we can set against nobody because our other two ooc's won't win a game and we'll likely need help getting an 8 seed in our region even at 9-1. See last season.

Posted August 6th, 2012 09:59 AM IP I agree Galion that Mansfield is the most important game right now ! But there are teams we play this year that will be much improved there not all going to be nobodies and just because we beat these teams doesent mean there nobodies galion IS going to be a very good football team this year. Go Tigers

Wow what a comment. I am pretty sure Nay would rather win as many games as possible and make the playoffs instead of worring about his stats but a lot of fans don't seem to see it that way. Remember, football is the ultimate team sport, and when one or two "stars" think they are above the team it can really hurt the team. Like I said, I highly doubt Nay or Watkins are like that but they could be if they had the attitude of some of the fans.
And feverpitch I am not singling you out, there were several fans last year who bragged about Galions stats against some very weak teams and the coach even kept them in late in the game but winning is more important to a true competitor and teammate.

Posted August 12th, 2012 10:03 AM IP Nicely put Blodg. I think maybe why Feverpitch asked that was because Nay was fun to watch last year and made some entertaining runs i doubt Fever was asking about his stats. I assure you knowing Nays father he wouldn't let his son think he is above the team or worry about his stats. Nay and Watkins are very competitive and just want to win. But fans get excited and Galion hasen't had excitement in a while so if they brag a little lets cut them a little slack and call it community spirit ! Go Tigers

Posted August 12th, 2012 06:11 PM IP First of all it wasn't a comment it was a question. Secondly I was just trying to get some info as he doesn't get as much attention on here. I know David (no relation) and as a sr. and a good kid he could use a little press.

Press... accolades... awards.. honors....records and titles are earned ..... not given! Winning is not a "sometime thing", but an "all the time thing"! Unfortunetely, So is Losing"!

Usually, the offers are listed and well known. When the first offer hit the rest come rolling in. I am surprised it is a secret.

Posted August 13th, 2012 06:37 PM IP I'm still a little bit puzzled why it's assumed that he's going d1 when area standouts such as Dorsey and McCune are playing d2. I recall a standout db from about 3 years ago that everyone assumed was going big time who is playing at Heidelberg now as well.

Posted August 13th, 2012 06:45 PM IP IF Dorsey had not blown out his knee he'd be playing at a DI school. Like McCunen, Ney hasn't spent enough time in a tanning booth.
Personally I would MUCH rather go to Mount Union than a MAC school. 13

Posted August 13th, 2012 06:51 PM IP Dorsey had a serious injury that i'm sure scared some colleges away or he would have gone d1---plus there are alot of other factors that go into whether a young man goes d1 or 2 or 3 ---a big one is grades and ACT or SAT scores Go Tigers
