You went out on limb, there, jumper, saying Calvert will win some games this year. They already have two under their belt.

Where is the Calvert-Carey game at this year? That may be for the MAL title. Calvert has a shot if it is at their little puny piece of crap gym. Hey Calvert fans....why don't you guys play at St Joe's gym in Tiffin? That place could be converted for high school games real easily and would be much better.

why would calvert want out of their own element?
so carey is comfortable? so carey fans arent in the dark on the stage?
thats what makes calverts gym a true home-court advantage.

The early returns are in and I think we can officially say that Calvert and Carey are the top dogs. Calvert seems to be on a big time roll right now and they won't see a tough opponent until after New Years sometime.

Carey just seems so deep and someone different stepping up each night with Tong being the leader. Still waiting for Vaughn to get hot.

Calvert plays North Baltimore tonight at Calvert. Calvert has lost to NB the last four years. I heard NB has 5 starting seniors. Should be a good game.

This game was a massacre from the word "go". I was at this game tonight and Calvert had control all night. Fry didn't even play well tonight and Calvert just did everything they wanted. Pressed NB, an

Calvert is the real deal for sure and my league favorite to win the MAL over Carey right now. Depth looks shaky though?

Finally seen the mighty Senecas play against NB. Wow, thought it was going to be a game, wrong....
The Seneca's get up and down the court as fast as any team I've seen in the last 10 years at Calvert. They still need a better 1/2 court offense.

Calvert handled Old Fort with no problem. Was up by 15 to 20 most of the game. Old Fort only has two real players that are any good. No supporting cast hurts them.

Calvert has passed all tests so far but schedule will get tougher with Carey and McComb and Liberty Benton down the road. Calvert's margin of vistory has been strong though and scoring has been balanced

Calvert won over Mansfield Christian Wednesday night. They haven't really faced any good competition yet. I don't think Fremont St. Joe will be good. Sounds like they have injuries. 7-0 both JV and Varsity.

Have they rescheduled the St. Joe game because Ohio State plays their bowl game that evening?

It's a triple header with the freshmen playing St. Joe at 4:30pm. Not going to be rescheduled.

I think what sjcctrack was getting at was the only reason to move a game is if players are unavailable like if St. Joe's football team was playing, not because of the ohio state game where no calvert or St. Joe players would be playing in it. So no need to move the game.

Calvert is 8-0, but I probably should have taken in the Carey vs New Riegel game instead. Both games were blowout wins, but Carey is the team to beat in the MAL as St Joe played good defense and showed Calvert can be "slowed". Having seen Carey more than Calvert, I'll take Carey by 8 right now. A lot can change in 2 weeks.

I think Carey's length will give Calvert trouble as Tong, Chapman and Cole are all 6-3 to 6-5 and very active around the basket on both ends, then Carey also has shooters in Stansbury and Vaughn if you pack it in on them. Nice team and their length is bothersome on D too. Calvert has that look of a pesky bunch that will not go away though so it should be a good game.

Calvert not playing team basketball the last couple games. Fry didn't start the last game. He missed a couple of practices. Heard a couple different reasons why. Not sure what to believe. Calvert will not beat Carey if they play like they did the last two games.
