Will be Jan. 23, 2015 ... Stieber brothers, Jordan brothers, etc. wrestle for Ohio State against Indiana at Norwalk High School.

Seriously? I may have to make the drive. It's only two hours away. I haven't looked at the schedule either, but I think OSU should be at U of M this year, a mere 25 minutes from the homestead. There's nothing better than seeing the Ohio State bus on that campus up north, and going home with a "W"!!!

Now for my personal fun, in that this past weekend my son wrestled in the USAW State Greco/FS Championships here in Fowlerville, MI. There is a young man name Zach Hall (who is a beast by the way) headed for U of M and the head coach at U of M (Joe McFarland) was there watching Zach wrestle. Needless to say, I was there with an OSU T-shirt on, and got to stand there and joke back and forth with Joe about OSU/Michigan. (He is from North Olmstead originally so it was actually a quite amicable discussion.) I also got to give a little jab to Adam Coon, U of M's heralded freshman heavyweight who is a friend of my son. All is all, if my kid wrestled better, it would have been an outstanding weekend.

Yes, it's a go. They were going to wrestle Michigan State at Norwalk last year, but when Hunter redshirted, they pushed it back a year, and instead when to Massillon for NCAA 197 runner-up Nick Heflin.

OSU tries to go to one alma mater per year if feasible for their guys ... were at Oak Harbor two years ago for Magrum and Stone (and of course Stieber's hometown was 45 minutes away).

I wish, as Fowlerville is a pretty strong wrestling community. That's where the USAW tournament was held. I am about an hour from there and much closer to Detroit.

Jacob Danishek should also be wrestling for Indiana. He was a 4 time state champ from Ohio.

You have to go through Ohio State to get them, Norwalk will have nothing to do with ticket sales ... Probably look for an announcement once the season has begun, maybe late November.
