I just figured since it's the biggest tournament state wide of the year, that a separate thread for updates was warranted. I know that I am taking tomorrow off of work to take my kid out of school to go watch his 4 teammates try to get some tin here in michigan. Hoping he can make some of his own noise over the next three years, but in the meantime, I want him to see the venue again and again so when his time does come, it's not a shocker for him, but rather the expectation. Add to that, I love the idea of being off work to watch wrestling all day, and it just kind of works for me.

Best of luck to Kohl Johnson from Upper in his vie to secure some chest hardware this weekend as well!!

Kyle Burns and Seth Williams both won at 152 D2. I hope both win their next match so two NW Ohio guys can meet in the semi-finals to prove who is better after going 1-1 this year for the right to get whipped by Bo Jordan in the finals.

Sounds like Burns wins 6-3 over Williams to get that matchup with Bo Jordan in the 152 D2 championship.

That's amazing.
We need a nickname for the Marion District.....'Marion Whirlpool'?

When my wife turned 40 she started walking 3 miles a day. Now I don't know where the hell she is.

Yeah, but keep in mind Graham came out of there this year as well so those numbers should be pretty high. Even without Graham they are still pretty good. Speaking of pretty good St. Ed's is laying waste to the D1 field again this year.
