Good luck to these area kids. I got a chance to run through the brackets last night and saw the NCC kids who qualified. Hopefully, they can make a little noise while they are there.

This is one of the worst leagues in the whole state when it comes to wrestling. With that being said Galion and Upper should both have solid lineups. Ontario has a couple kids that will do well. Are there any other bright spots?

Not really gt...Its basically Upper and Galion and a couple of ontario kids. But you already knew this. Im giving the edge to Galion this year. I really have no idea what upper has. Is kenner still around?

Galion should be able to be competitive all year. They have some good wrestlers coming back and there is a solid athlete that moved in. Plus a couple freshman that could make some noise.

Yes Mr. Green Kenner is still around he is a JR. this year and will be trying to get back to 145 possibly i think upper has a good chance at winning the league again and also sending a few to districts if not state. HOPEFULLY

Been catching updates on FB from Troiano about the Rams. Looks like they are having a nice season so far. Won a couple of tournaments no less, and at Plymouth to boot.

That's right. Ohio is doing State Duals now too. I actually like the way that they are set up in Michigan, in that the duals mirror the individual tournaments. The dual tournament plays out on Wednesdays where each team wrestles twice and then the individuals play out on the weekend, where a wrestler may wrestle up to five matches. In three weeks, they are down to the final eight teams in 4 divisions, as well a ready for individual states and then hold those tournaments on the next two weekends. It works fairly well.

Good job Rams; hope you are asleep so you can wrestle again in 12 hours. Find the strength somewhere.

Was this correct? They wrestled NCCs last night and then to state duals today? The NCC couldn't adjust a little or was is an OHSAA rule?

Couldn't they find an alternate day instead of the night before State?

Upper wins Sectionals for the team points and is sending 10 of their 11 wrestlers to districts with 4 of those being champions
