Willy... You made it a point to post why SMCC lost.. NOT WHY CC WON. CC won because THEY made the last shot TO WIN! CC won the game SMCC did NOT lose the game! Great game to have witnessed! Both teams deserved to win!

AGAIN.... the SPECIFIC area in which CC played MUCH better than SMCC was foul shooting. 74% vs 44%. The MAJOR reason CC won the game.

NBA you ALWAYS look for a reason to HATE. You ALWAYS look for a reason to call people names. You ALWAYS look for a reason to use put downs.
In the area of foul shooting. Did one of the teams shoot better than they usually do? Did one team shoot worse than they usually do? Did both teams shoot at or near the % they usually do?
When I presented the foul shooting facts of the game I DID NOT mean to put down either team. All I meant to do was point out the BIGGEST reason that one team won vs the other team losing.
Foul shooting percentage is really the only area that one team has no control over how the other team performs. Thus if a team shoots well below or well over their normal % for the year and it's a close game, they've controlled their destiny. Thus, it looked to me the reason that SMCC lost the game.

You could have said that "Edgerton has to hope that CC does not shoot foul shots as well as they did against SSMC. They shot 74%, THE reason they won the game".

CC is a good 3-point shooting team, thus 74% foul shooting is a reasonable %. SMCC's 44% is not good for any team, hence the thought was it is well below their normal FT %.
