Ontario happened to be stuck in the Dials-Langhurst-Diebler era in that stretch. Good luck to anyone from any conference to get out of that sectional.

Ontario didn't play those teams.
OnJOKEo was losing to Diebler-less Upper and Shelby.

Upper would have been a 10-10 team in the NOL this year. That's why they tucked their tail for the NCC - 17-3 was the result.

Those 6 teams I listed were NCC Champions - All 6 failed to get out of a simple D-2 Sectional. It proves how inflated Upper's record was this year and Ontario's record has been since it joined the NCC.

16-4 in the NCC = 10-10 in the NOL. Doesn't take a rocket scientist. That's why the NON-rocket scientists that lead Upper Sandusky tucked their tails for the NCC, to pick up those extra wins vs Lucas, Crestline, Riverdale, BC and the other itty bitty schools.

Once Upper faced schools in it's own division that 17-3 record turned into a Sectional loss. Following in the footsteps of Ontario's D-2 inflated win totals and Bucyrus.

Another absolute is that you will try to debate/argue almost every post and try to say it's someone who is the bad guy when you are the common factor. Haha

Snce you are asking, No, I will to allow it.

What I have done is again present FACTS to prove a position in a debate. That would be close to absolute, thank you for pointing that out. You taking a differing position in this debate, which is counter to all known FACTS, doesn't make you a "bad guy", it just puts you on the side of the losing position of this debate.

There is no debate when there's no disagreement. A debate occurs only when there are two contradictory positions.

Then you agree that the most accurate description of the NCC is that it was predominantly a DIII/DIV League.

When Tiffin was a DI school were their records inflated since every school in the NOL were in a smaller Division?

OnJokeo from the lowly NCC beat Willynillyard's varsity from the OMNIPOTENT NOL by 8, beat the Willynillyard JVs by 14, beat the Willynillyard Freshmen by double figures. Willynillyard wanted no part of OnJokeo's 7th and 8th graders.

I'm guessing if Lima Bath would have played Upper's NCC schedule they would have been vastly more ready to face Lexington in the tournament.

And if Bath would have played in the god fearing NOL.... they would have steamrolled Lexington. Everyone knows all DII schools in the state of Ohio just shiver when an NOL team comes calling.

The WBL might be tougher than both.
bottom of the ninth, not time outs, it's 4th down with no fouls to give and I'm swinging for the fence.

Sorry, folks, but in the whole realm of Ohio athletics, the NOL is a very, VERY average league.
Big fish - little pond syndrome for NW-NCentral Ohio folk...

We argue about the whole NCC vs. NOL vs. DI vs. DII vs. "DX" crap, but on the state stage, representation by the NOL/NCC has been fairly sparse..

For example, Vogel continuously harps on the great Willard teams/coaches, but it's actually amounted to very little in terms of reaching Columbus in the past 50 years.

Heck, a few leagues have had teams whom have WON more team state championships in just 2 or 3 years than NOL teams have won in the past 50 years!!

NOL = Over-rated, but hey, they're better than the NCC, FC, and SBC and that's ALL that matters....

You just can't argue with IGNORANCE.
