Anyone know what conference Perkins was in prior to the SBC which they joined in 1972? Were they independent after they left the Firelands Conference in 1963? Of course these dates are from Wikipedia so they could be wrong.

I believe they were independent between 63 and 72.

I think they were in the Firelands Conference for a year or two after Berlin Heights/Milan became Edison. (Fall '68)
