shadow,
That pick was a killer for Whitmer. With the jumbo size O-Line for Whitmer, I figured that they could pound it in from 3 yards out. Tough goal line D from Iggy's.

Posted November 29th, 2011 03:32 PM IP I was on the TRAC thread most of the season reminding everyone that was "in love" with Whitmer that there are other teams out there that are just as good or better. I saw weaknesses in the Panthers and wasn't sold on them winning a state title.
Whitmer had a great season and they were the studs of NW Ohio --- however, each year the class of NW Ohio seems to find out the hard way that there are some really strong teams out there in Division I. "Get Busy Livin....or get busy dying!"

Posted November 29th, 2011 07:02 PM IP Before chanting overrated here, lets not forget Whitmer had a season high in turnovers in this game. If you look at the stats, Whitmer outgained Iggy by almost 2 1/2 to 1.

Posted November 29th, 2011 09:16 PM IP Iggy bent, but never broke.
If Whitmer had a better QB, they are probably playing for a championship.
I saw their game against Wadsworth and the QB just didn't impress me.

Posted December 3rd, 2011 10:47 AM IP Never chanted overrated in any way to Whitmer....they were the "studs" of NW Ohio. I said specifically that when they turned the ball over THREE times against Findlay and still won that they couldn't do that against the premiere teams in Ohio -- thats what happened and its part of the game. To be the best you have to protect the football. "Get Busy Livin....or get busy dying!"
