Posted April 27th, 2011 10:38 AM IP I had just posted this on the General Discussion board for everyone to see.
I counted 127 schools ahead of Ross, and there are a handful of schools in Ohio, especially Cleveland Public, that haven't released their figures. So, as you mentioned, it looks to be a safe bet Ross will be in Division II for Football.
Clay with 474, and Lima with 472, look to be joining Ross, although I'm not certain Lima will be in the same Region(Clay and Ross will be assumed Region 6). 2012 Stanley Cup Champions!

Posted April 27th, 2011 06:00 PM IP I'm not so sure these numbers are finalized yet. Remember last enrollment release 2 years ago Fremont's numbers were incorrectly reported. 541 to 470 is an extreme dropoff. They could be accurate but these enrollment numbers have been all over the charts the past 2 years so I'm not holding my breath just yet. Look at some of the TPS schools. Start gained almost 100 boys from last year's "special recount" As did Woodward....I thought there was supposed to be a mass exodus from Toledo??? Yet all of them gained enrollment.
If Ross does make the drop, Region 6 will have a complete makeover. Avon Lake and Maple Heights will be Div I and Tiffin back in Div II according to Vogel's cutoff figures. Perrysburg also looks to be in Div II.

Posted April 27th, 2011 06:34 PM IP Believe it or not, Ross is following Sandusky's pattern from a few years ago. Sandusky went from 480 to 481, then 430ish. Ross went from 540 to 541 to 470. Other schools made significant drops as well, so this is no surprise.
Yes, Avon Lake looks to be Division I although I would welcome a matchup with them should both had made the Playoffs in Region 6. 2012 Stanley Cup Champions!

Posted April 27th, 2011 09:14 PM IP Southview's enrollment is listed with 506 Boys. Right now, the projected cutoff seems to be at least 489 boys for Division I status. 2012 Stanley Cup Champions!
