Posted August 18th, 2010 02:36 PM IP I definitely want a machine with more ram and possibly more pads. I find it to be so limiting to only have so much pads and so much memory.. I've had many errors due to overloading the machine.
I want some knobs for real time effects
I'm looking at the MPC 4000
I did check out that APC40... I dig the real time track muting, effects, and such. Definitely a good device for live shit

Posted August 25th, 2010 09:27 AM IP Im not sure if the mpc4000 has real-time fx. but u should definitely look into getting an mpd26 or 32. seems like everyone is using em these days and with good results especially with electronic music. those controllers got some knobs and faders u can mess with and link em to run fx, vol, pan, etc.. i have a friend that has a mpd26 that uses it with FL and its cake! there's presets for that, ableton, logic, and other shit i dont remember..but im pretty jealous of em.
