nice knowledge quest. to me the only real beef me and my crew had that i was physically aware of was bzare fab and tranz, folk and their crew, art critics. which ironically we ended up rolling with fab and tagging that crew up. so weird. back then. and then later i became close with tranz and even traveled to cali with him for graff.

we capped tranz and dep32 at pch.later we agreed
to battle...tranz vs quest exer vs dep32.tranz did his
piece in about 20mins.that was the fastest i've seen
anyone rock a piece with 5 colors.i dropped out.....
exer battled characters with dep. exer killed it.dep
dropped out,too.after that we ate at hungry lion and
walked out on the tab.i wonder what really happened
to tranz's collection of flix?

since this is the old school thread. have you noticed back then we only had so many colors. so you had to rock just a few colors. so your skills had to be on point and you couldn't hide it with using million colors. your shading was actually a skill and not with 4 different browns and or reds. you actually had to know how to fade so your brown went nicely with the beige. LOL.

as far as colors went,i also rocked testors and design
masters.design masters always had choke colors but
the smell is way too much

ooh testors. that's where i got my first phantom, not skinny cap, but phantom (sprayed like a skinny cap but slowed the pressure coming out so you could get even skinnier lines)

i remember people in cali cutting them so stars and stuff could come out. thats where we were getting all our caps from the testor cans we would rack from hobby stores.. still testing out caps you find in super marketsi forgot how i got my first actualy fat cap, but it was the shit.. i think my homie kenone gave it to me.

i don't think it would get so much publicity if all the toys didn't try to hit up where the big boys were. if they kept to tagging light poles stop signs bathrooms and then keep practicing in their back wall of dad's house until they got some skill then start getting up in some hot spots it would not be as crazy. but when you got 100 something kids trying to paint like the big boys well it just draws alot of attention to get buffed. especially if they could keep their tags smaller and practice some can control. nah i just being contradicting. LOL. wanted to type some garbage.

its all about fat ny york flare tags.. i dont know why people dont do it anymore... lol katch talkin garbage.
i used to be a kid too, but i was doing things differently.. i learned from other people about flare tags and stuff.. i didnt have 12oz prophet teaching me. trying to think of a good example of where i started...
i know.. doing basic throwups. ultra flat black and ultra white. i didnt really start to piece until 11 years ago.. before that i was bombin the shit out of everything. FAT throwups kids.. its where its at.
wow.. the garbage talk really catches on..lol

yo it was all about flares.
NY FATS and Thins.
watched a VHS of Repeat Offender over and over to learn how to Flare
and i still cant do it on point. (well haven't really painted in a minute)
but.
I feel BOGS.

All day.
