Grimm Image Records out of Highland California is a Native American owned record label who's objective is to bring hip hop back to its true form, an art form. Where hip hop is respected and not exploited. We collaborate with and encourage each of our accomplished artist to create music which allows for the voice of the artist and their individual creative freedom to be what is heard and seen. Grimm Image Records was founded on this ideology and Grimm will continue to lay tracks towards getting hip hop back to what it truly stands for. THE FUTURE IS GRIMM!!!

Neila
Neila (nay- lah) is an underground hip-hop emcee, an author, a painter, and a special education teacher who was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii. She has toured across United States and Canada. She has worked with artists such as 2Mex, Aceyalone, Deeskee, Avatar, Vrse Murphy, Bigg Jus, and more. She has been putting out albums since cassettes were considered new technology.
Now residing in Los Angeles, Neila has shown her artwork in many galleries and is now finishing her first children’s book featuring the Yeti, a character that she has grown to love and bring to life over the years. During the school year she teaches grades K-6, students with disabilities all the while making time the write, draw, paint, and record music because those are her true passions.
In 2010 she was diagnosed with vocal chord cancer and was told her voice would never be the same again and that she may never be able to emcee again. With the power of positive thought, yoga, meditation, determination, and support from family and friends, her voice has returned almost fully to
its original state and she is in full remission. She plans to get back into the studio and perform soon and continue to live life with a smile on her face, as life is too short to not be happy. "we ran this City before we turned 21"
