I think this is my favourite tram picture , it shows the old, the regular, and the new all in one shot.

This was the "New" cars , the double-bogie, centre-door Streamliners.

This was a different type of 'streamliner' ... just a single-bogie , and ordinary door-style.

And this is just one of the 'regular' ordinary flat-roof trams.
Down at Park Street.

There were a lot of the old balcony cars still around .... We called them 'Bone-shakers'
Most unusual to see pictures of them in colour though... I remember they had brightly-painted red railings upstairs.

This was the terminus at Mannofield. There was a little Chip Shop over on the left side there behind the motor-bike.
I can't remember the owner's name.
I just remember he had grey hair and had a mustache.
I think he was Italian.
Wish I could remember his name...

I thought it would be different to show some of the interiors for a change.
So here's a few shots of the upstairs and downstairs.
This first one is of the 'new' centre-door streamliner

Another shot almost the same.
I wondered what was that wall sticking out on the left there ?
Well the stairs went up from the middle on these cars, so that wall is just to enclose the steps up.
