Interesting picture of Roy's clothes. Do you suppose these were readied for a quick change in the studio?
Does anybody recognize any of the patterns? How about the dark one about 7th from the right?

Look at all the hats on the ground...some of them are even different styles. Interesting.

The hats you're speaking about are probably new ones that Roy hadn't had time to shape his trademark style into yet.
I heard him say once on a video that to start the process of shaping a hat, he'd take it into the shower and mold it to the shape he wanted.

Both. Especially the parts about the hats; as I don't ever recall seeing Mr. Rogers wearing the rounder type of hats shown in the picture very much.

More so in his earliest movies.

That's true. He did wear them in his earlier ones.

Does anyone know who these people are?

I'm not sure if I know who the man is...

Look where Dale's line-of-sight is...that's almost a look that doesn't necessarily speak of liking a moustache, eh?

Here's another one of Roy at the Bonneville Salt Flats.
Next to Roy is Wally Parks, then Bob Petersen; at the extreme is an unidentified cowboy.
Parks and Petersen have been big names in Hot Rod Magazine, Petersen being the publisher.

Question for some experts on Rogers family pictures: Is the lady on the far left in this picture Arline Rogers?

If it is, she may not like the other lady on Roy's lap.
Isn't that Penny Edwards on the right?

No, it's Velma Spencer, Tim Spencer's wife. The lady on Roy's lap is Fern Allen, wife of the Sons of the Pioneers' manager Sam Allen, and on Roy's right is Clara "P-Nuts" Nolan, Bob Nolan's wife.

No takers on that last question?

Well, here's another puzzle. Take a look at this picture:

Adele Mara

That is Dale Evans on the right, isn't it? I was browsing some photo galleries of old-movie actresses, and came across this one in a gallery of Adele Mara pictures. Now, I'm pretty sure neither of the ladies in this picture is Adele. Does anyone know what movie it's from, or who the other girl is?

This scene is from "The Trespasser" co-starring Warren Douglas, Janet Martin, Douglas Fowley, Adele Mara & Grant Withers.

These pics are great! Interesting to note how many other films Dale shows up in. In fact, it is interesting to see who show up in Roy's movies.
